You loose contact with all signals when you eventuate across the Bight. Try to travel with the wind rather than against it. Saves a lot on the fuel consumption.

Maybe I should have warned you about parking beside the Mazda, Toppy Tofu might have picked up a few idea from the Mazda about how to get a few days rest between drives, simply dump out the oil and leave them struggling to stop itjon_d wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 3:55 pm Broken down outside Port Augusta.
The oil lubrication feed pipe to the injector pump broke. Pumped all the oil out.
Spotted as the light flashed on. Sort of fixed with some fuel hose and limped into PA.
Waiting for a hydraulic place to open to see how to repair it.

Fitted together with borrowed hose clamps from the turbo and diesel heater. Different size hoses and the like.
