Dave,
Nigel reckons the next 1 or 2 days. But there could be flooding. Not sure how a bloke from Nigeria knows this stuff.

Good morning 17c feels colder, gusty N/E winds & showers so definitely no bowls today.

Good morning all, washing day today, overcast sky, no wind and the road is very quiet.

Re: Good morning daily
Mannum was wall to wall tourists today, well this afternoon anyway. Had to come up to the workshop to try and figure out a battery and pump idea that would last longer than it took to install from bits I already have. The toilet flush and garden watering tank has run out of water yet again and barely enough water in the main tanks for showers and washing and cooking and ...... that sort of stuff, so river water pumping is required yet again
Maybe a real big tarp staked out on the flat bit up above the house and a hose down to the tank .... that would certainly stop the rain for a few yrs

Fishing at the Coffin Bay pier.
Boys caught a few whiting and a monster crab. All went back.
Drove to Elliston. Camped at the $10 per night golf club. Lovely views.

Re: Good morning daily
Terry, why don't you get a pump that can lift a bit of head, and put it in your yard. Just leave the foot valve and associated gear in the river. That way when it stuffs up next time, you wont even have to walk across the road to fix it! The only thing you might have to do is increase the size of the suction hose.
Jon, how is the Bedford behaving?

Hi Dave.
Bus seems ok. It missed a few beats the other day into Coffin Bay. A bit like when we had to replace a fuel filter coming back from Uluru.
Today, it ran well. We're goin gto go to the Head. Maybe not the whole way across... Just means we don't have to drive as far.
