Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

All cloud cover this morning at Dysart with a temp of 22.5c at 8am and waiting for the sun to appear through the clouds.
Queensland is having a public holiday today so I think I will join in and do nuffin even though I am not public.
I will observe the Late Queen Elizabeth birthday as a private person.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

A late Good Morning All, wasn't feeling too well so stayed in bed until 9am (dst). 16* and partly cloudy. I managed some mowing yesterday while the grass was dry.

Spent yesterday morning connecting up the solar, 12v battery, inverter and the 240v submersible dirty water pump. Managed to end up waist deep in the waders and discovered they have a leak  Finally got the two hoses joined, switched it on and raced up to listen for the water splashing in the tank .... nothing .... had a shower and back out to check .... still nothing, went down to check all the connections and even turned the intermediate 240v pump on under the house ...... then off to watch the NRL grand final. Half time, checked the tank, still nothing, turned the primer hose on to feed water in berfore the pump and see it that helped, back to watch the second half. Full time, check the tank, water splashing in, but only is short bursts and the tank hadn't filled high enough to get water flowing out of the tap 1/3rd of the way up the tank .... it was just the primer water returning to the tank, turned that off and sure enough, no more water splash into the tank.
So, Swans lost, Parramatta lost, my continued fight with the river pump lost .... gotta be time for a beer or three .... you guessed it, forgot to restock the fridge so only one beer left after the required beers needed to watch an NRL grand final ..... especially when you team is loosing ......

A sudden inspiration this morning, did I actually check the inverter worked and not just the green light coming on ...... dead inverter ..... back to the workshop to dig through the pile of inverters on the table in the "future project" pile .... two possibles so we shall see.

Maybe it will be a Ford 1-2-3 at Bathurst to break the loosing streak ..... glad I don't put money on these things eh

Supercars have totally lost their relevance.
They stretched a Mustang to fit the chassis, and used a German 4 cylinder sedan that you couldn't buy, and called it a Commodore. At least next years cars will look like something that will be sitting in the showroom. Still reckon that the one with the Holden badge will win.

Since the days of “equalisation” arrived, I don’t care who wins.
I just watch the drivers struggling to hold it on the planet through The Chase at the bottom of Conrod Straight! 😜😁

Morning all.
I stepped aside of my nuffin duties yesterday and mowed the lawn...gotta keep in the good books :D :D
As an experiment I have been feeding just one of the tomatoes plants with the dregs of my beer brewer, it is about a twice the size of the others.... hope I don't get breathalyzed after eating them
Keep safe .
