Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

QUESTION TO THOSE WHO KNOW THESE THINGS:---
I have Windows 10 system on my Laptop, and I notice there is a Windows 11.
Is there any benefit or great improvement in changing my system from Windows 10, or just more difficult to learn how to work it.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Keith Unless your computer is a Generation 8 it will not run windows 11 as a natural advancement.
There is an alternate way to load win11 on an earlier gen 6 computer, but it's a long and involved process that I won't go into here,
I run win 11 on my Gen 8 home computer and apart from a few changes to the presentation of windows I don't see much advantages so far with it.
My travel computer is win 10 generation 4 and there's no comparison to the speeds between the 2
Of course Gen 8 is much faster than an earlier generations of computers so my games etc are really fast.

"tanks" here---
Thanks Ron,
I don't do games and don't travel nowadays, well only to the letterbox in the front yard.
My main Laptop activity is the forum and eBay so I will be content with what I have.
Thanks for the info on the W11.

Morning all.

Bucketed down last night. Roads awash, creeks fast flowing.

The bus is having a hard time. One ford, the speedo stopped working.... came good after about 10 minutes. Exhaust brake jammed on for a little bit. Engine ran ok.

I'll be glad to get home. I've done 5100ks since the 7th Sept. So probably can't complain to much. Btw, the bus is 50 years old this month.

Good afternoon, bleak totally overcast, light intermittent rain all arvo doesn't look like clearing anytime soon.

Played bowls on Tuesday Helen, y'day only 4 arrived for social bowls so didn't bother going, looked like rain & was cool, 4 other ladies did play 1st round of Major singles, we normally have at least 25plus players. I'm playing in 2nd round Tuesday weather permitting, I've drawn last years winner will need to concentrate & bowl good, fingers crossed. :D

Bernie wise decision to not be climbing around on top of MH removing solar panels, you definitely don't want to be falling down.

We've had a quite couple of weeks, daughter in law has looked after & taken the kids out over the school holidays, they've really had a great time.

It is now 6.50pm daylight saving time & the rain is constant, think we're in for a wet weekend, wet Bathurst too.
