Morning everyone.
WOW...the biggest storm we have ever been in hit Degilbo last night, there are heaps of trees down plus some structural damage to homes.
We have just nuisance stuff, the door on the green house has left the building, don't know where ?
Shade screen across front of the house is down lots of Carol's pot plants are upside down.
Just checked the gauge 74mm, and there was large hail in the storm but we didn't gp out to see size..
I will put a cuppla pics up in a minute or two.

Hi Dot,
Jo & Derrik have a few problems. the tractor tried to tow them out and as it moved it went onto softer ground and sank further and side ways, Towie tried harder and ripped the boxes on the drive side off their hinges, the controls for the gear change and other underneath stuff [technical term] from there. In about two weeks time they are goining to try putting air bags under it, remove the fence and try to move it again and then dig under and fill so it will move out. Jo will be hiring a truck in Ca$ino and coming back to empty it. Then its the Insurance Co, problem, possible a rite off as it is 27 years old and only one of two made, new engine 18 months ago. It was up for sale if you are interested.
Most people have left the site, a lot were towed out onto the hard stand, we are staying till Thursday then we are off all to different places. Lance to Armidale to Graham & Lolo's, Barry to Gunadah to get dog neutered and me to Rutherford to get a new radio fitted in the Iveco.

Yeah, nearly filled the tanks to over flowing ... I think rescuing the pump from the river is going to require a boat, the water level is still rising, not as high as it has been, but with no wind pushing the level up, it looks like we might see one of those high river level events
We have a high level road at the back of our block that we can travel to and from the workshop, getting out of Mannum and back in might be a different story though ....

Peter, I saw the sideways pics, must of been bad to do that damage. At least they have their home to go back to. Make sure it is only the dog that gets the chop.

T1, You better get a box or two of steak in glass and some Dubliner and keep it at the workshop. All that water causing grief downstream from Mulwala has to go somewhere eventually. I reckon the river level is gunna go up for a while, before it thinks about going down. How will Bruce and Brian get on at the marina, flood wise?
