Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. We only had about 10mm of rain, but we have had plenty of cold, cold wind. Had to get up through the night and find a blanket. Bright sunny day now, but still cold. Did nuffin yesty, except walk the dog.
Happy hump day everybody. Safe travels.
Cheers

Finally have a break in the rain ‘smornin… 21mm since 1800 Monday. Seemed like more than that — constant rattling of rain on the roof overnight.

Hope all the punters won some dollars today, haven't seen the race yet.
I'm at least $100 up today, didn't put a bet on any of the races

It was suggested this morning that we might need to move to the workshop and go home once a week, I put forward I'd be happy to stay home and come to the workshop once a week .... it got a good laugh ... well until Margaret realised I wasn't actually joking :D

No hope of that happening though, booked out till Christmas was the last I heard .... she doesn't like to tell me just how bad it really is

T1,
One of the statistics thrown about today was that the ‘average Australian’ bets $179 on the Melbourne Cup.
I reckon I must be $171 in front. I only spent $8 on three sweeps.
Not a single nag I was allocated was mentioned, other than in a call of the entire field. It was $8 down the toilet, but at least the Men’s Shed benefited from the takings.
I think I’ll have to cut down on my gambling before it becomes a problem… 🤔 next year I might spend only $5 on the Cup Sweep. 😁

Good Morning Everyone.
Was a windy day yesty...I think I seen Helen's dog go by :D
I took all the scaffolding down and packed away...that was the biggy for the day ;)
Still trying to find where the wire on my ride-on goes...no luck yet
Cleaned the veggie patch some support was required for the capsicums and chillies.
And I used my cordless hedger for the tree's along the back fence.
Kool here this AM..8*
Keep safe.
