Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning, 19.3, few grey clouds at present but they're telling us no rain today, Lake is calm.

Sad news Bernie, did her husband pass away recently, remember you posting re a neighbour's death?

I'm also a sweet young thing Helen, :D I've never heard the expression " Wolloper" either, although years ago police were more physical with out of control youth so can see where it may of originated.

Good morning everyone, its a bright sunny day at Mulwala.
Sorry to hear your sad news Bernie.
Most of hot rods that were in town have gone home , I reckon the rest will head off today. It is almost time to get Terrie's dad off to get his surgery on his leg. There are a few ultra nervous people here at the mo'.
The lake is as high as it gets still, and the river is still flooding, doesn't look like going down soon.
Travel safe everybody, here's hoping that all the sick ones are on the improve.
Cheers
David

Good morning. Sad news Bernie. Is that the lady who wandered over the last time we were there for a cuppa?
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

Helen, this is a recipe for a small batch of jam. (4 people) Other recipes are found on Google for larger quantity.
Find someone woith a Rosella plant first and find out how much fruit you have to paly with.
Your CWA Ladies may be a great help there.
There is good info on the web site for:- THESEEDCOLLECTION which is a seed seller company in Victoria.
They sell both the standard Rosella seeds, and also an Early Variety Rosella Seed.
I buy several garden seeds; salad, vegie, and other seeds and the service is 1st class, and the prices are very reasonable.

Good arvo / evening, I am so proud of myself, I had genuine sweat dripping from my weary brow today, got the bug to do a good spring clean and totally knackered myself out and to top that off aggravated my poor sore ankles but got things done. Made scones esp for the nice young real estate couple that come to give us an appraisal for the house. Not one bit pushy. (Friends of out physio) 27 degs at the mo, niiiiicee. sorry to hear about your Neighbour Bernie. Never know when your time is up hey? Tanks are you boozed, or have you caught HTFFBO's affliction ??

SOME FURTHER IOFO FOR HELEN
Super Tasty spread made from hibiscus rosella flowers (the same as those used in our Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup for champagne). A bright crimson, very chunky jam with a tart flavour similar to raspberry and rhubarb with a whopping 60% rosella content.
Rosella Jam is a Queensland traditional favorite. These days it is very hard to find unless you are driving around rural Queensland where you can find it at farmers markets and roadside stalls.

Rosella Jam is made from our flowers which are too large or small or broken for serving in a glass of sparkling wine. They are a special genetic variety which was developed over 15 years ago which is super productive and has much more flavor than the standard Australian variety. *"tanks" note: A 220g jar $9.99 plus $ 10 post). I found this on the Google thing.

Use on fresh scones, ice cream or toast and anywhere you would like to add some super taste.
Can be used in Chutneys and sauces for something different to the usual, mix with some BBQ sauce or salsa and serve as a spicy chutney. Delicious smothered on thick white toast in the morning, or freshly baked bread.

Good morning everyone. It's 22° heading for 26 in Mulwala this morning. Clear skies with a light breeze. I hope it stays that way. We are off to Albury this morning to collect Terrie's dad after his overnight stay from his surgery.
Did a bit of maintenance pruning and trimming on some trees yesty. Not much else to report.
Have a great day everybody, safe travels.
Cheers
