Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It won't be long before someone takes the initiative. I don't think that they would have the range yet to make them suitable for motorhome conversion. Perhaps when the network of recharging stations improves, then maybe so.
There is a mob in SA that are building underground battery powered electric Landcriusers that run for a 12 hr shift and the main components are designed to swap into the next chassis due to the short life these vehicles have before they rust out.
There are enough battery powered trucks in Europe and even the US and Arab Emirate already to prove what they can do, the Rivan would make an amazing off road camper as an example.

That was the smallest of the range they go from [payload] 2.007 - 5.467kg .

You get used to the constant anti EV after a while Peter  You wouldn't want the payload to be over 4.5tonne unless you can find an engineer who is willing to derate it to 4.5 tonne for the car licence and avoid the heavy vehicle rego costs etc ..... I'm sure you could find a motorhome body builder who could fit it up just the way you want it.
It would also be possible to adapt the drive battery pack to double as the house battery and the rooftop solar to charge the battery.
I often have a laugh at the lengths some Grey Nomads will go to get something cheaper or free, yet free fuel is just too hard
The caravan park hoppers would be the ones in the best position of all, they get to plug in every night

Nigel's been pestering me all day. I've tried to ignore him because there is no way....

But, he reckons to beware of a tornado(s) in NW Victoria. Crazy, eh.

Just got the IVECO back they had it for three and half days [did two hundred kms testing] and now say it's fixed $2900.00
After nearly two years here's hoping they got it right this time.
I'm staying in a friends yard till Monday then off south. Brightwaters [Lake Macquarie] then Moss Vale S.G. then Robertson S.G. then back to Moss Vale till Christmas then Berry S.G. Then ???? Will know by then if is fixed or not. If so it's on the market for $160,000 drive away.

Unfortunately, that's probably the case Dot. Kinda sucks though.

Exactly what happed to me when I came back from NZ. I bought a Pulsar Q, some code kept lighting up, the dealers couldn't figure it out. Picked my X up from the airport (we were going to the F1 ) and the code thing happened again so we went into the dealers, ended up he showed them how to do the whole thing. I never went back to that dealer after that. He was the best ever mechanic by far. Only one fault his name was Terry
