Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Wauchope is a good little town & you can drive out into the forest behind Wauchope great views from the first picnic area on the top of the mountain, you can follow on thru the forest all the way to Coffs after the waterfall but serious 4x4 road/track, at Wilson River, we stayed there in the Coaster for a week, was a day spot only, the only folk we saw was a young couple with a small dog traveling on a motor bike & another family of 5 arrived one day to view the falls in a 4x4.

David Kendall Showgrounds is good too & you can drive West to Swans Crossing, it use to be a dairy farm in the middle of the forest, it's a free camp ground now, drop toilets & fresh water on tap, there is a small weir that use to supply the dairy farm, popular place on weekends but quite & restful during the week.

Thanks Bob. We checked it out today. I reckon we'll stop there next time we are down this way.

Shirley, I reckon that whole area is a big place of discovery for us. We will get back here at some point and check it out.
I think George had organised an ULWE or two at the Kendall showgrounds.
Cheers

Yes he did David, we went to a couple organised by George, any CMCA members who wanted to attend, met him & others who we still keep in touch with, must be 17plus years ago, think it was about $7 a night per vehicle   there is a great op shop at Kendall run by the community, they raised most of the money to build the local pool.

You can overnight at the tourist info centre just off the highway too, at Kendall if you're just traveling thru.

Good morning everyone. We are still in Pt Macquarie. Did a bit more exploring yesterday. We will have to come back here for a longer visit, maybe next winter when the whale migration is on. Heading closer to home today. Not sure where we be tonight. Safe travels everybody.
Cheers

Morning all,
Well, it’s the morning after the day before…
Frantic preparations for the Open Garden Day are finally behind us. 🥵
Had a good turn out. About 20~30 people from the area.
Spent the two hours before opening hammering labeled pegs in front of 150+ roses! They had to be a last-minute thing in case it rained… which fortunately it didn’t. 😁
Today I’ll be occupied pulling them all out and stowing them for next time.
Bacon & egg breakfast today as a thanks from SWMBO for all the help. 😀😀
Regards & God bless,
Ray

I would bet that you are both proud of all the work that you have put into your garden. Photos don't do it justice. :D
