Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Needles in the eyes day went well, the noise from just the warm up and sound checks from Adelaide oval with the warm up acts not even performing yet said it was gunna be a loud concert ..... the traffic heading that way and just about all the grassed area covered in parked cars showed it would have been well attended. The age mix was very interesting, from great grandparents to young kids at around primary school age, many in family groups of 15 or more
Back to working for my supper again it seems, was great to see George and Dottie yesterday when they dropped in for a cuppa
The water still hasn't gone up much but a lot of dirt is starting to pile up on the flood levees, looks like they might get it built before the water gets here  The marina is starting to clear out all the vehicles as everyone either moves themselves to higher ground or just their vehicles and the tinnies tied up at the walkways every so often shows who seems to be staying on board.

Good arvo, eyes, bums, backs, knees prostates and everything in between these days with us old farts. GP visit. Gman had another Vit B12 jab and another ref for Bone density scan. Me, I was offered and said "yes please" to a disabled parking permit for use in supermarket and city parking. She told us re the Japanese jab that we were not in the at risk zones so as long as we did the right things like sloppy clothing, and mozzie deterrents we will be ok. No need for another Cov jab either because we are doing all the right things but reminded us about the tablets IF we do test pos to the rat tests. Went home to Strath redid the birds food and water, watered some plants, put the rubbish bins out and left an apple for the possum then headed back to the bus via another town with an op shop   Yes saw another horrific home wiring job in a motorhome the T1 was doing

Dot, I have been taken Vit B1/2 as a supplement for close to 20 years. Never needed a top up jab.

I see Mannum made the ABC news tonight. Didn't see anyone I knew.
Cheers

David, many folk don't absorb the B12 tablets that's why they get B12 needles, I have been having them for 40 years since being diagnosed with Pernicious anemia, every 3 months & now I get Prolia injections every 6 mths., too.
I'm off to the dentist on Friday, check up, clean 1st visit at this surgery so guess, she'll do a ex ray.

Shirley, my wife has the Prolia every 6 months too. Needs to have a blood test to ensure that it will take up in the system.
If it wasn't for our much criticised medical system, I'd say that a good portion of us old farts would be looking at the inside of a lid of a box a long time ago. :D
Cheers
