Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Only 18c outside with a chance that the sun may poke through soon and improve the day.
I got used to the temp being around the 30's, so this 18c/20c deal is a bit of a shock to the system.
BernieQ must be out chasing the chooks or is taking it easy and is still in bed.
Keith.

Edit: I see that Bernie got in while I was playing with the keyboard and is not in bed.
Just above you Keith.

Morning all.

Still sorting though the repairs on the bus. This trip has taken its toll.

I'm pretty sure the front brakes had been loosing their bleed. So am replacing the seals. In doing so, I've notice that the outer left bearing has been spinning on the stub. I noticed the noise about a week ago and checked the wheel. It was silent when spun. But after washing down the bearing, it was obvious it has been turning.

Sunny days ahead. yippee.

Thats no good Jon. Just something to keep you busy and interfere with your golf. Is it going to be a simple fix?
Cheers

I think so. I'm not sure if the bearing was a little loose or not. Anyway, followed the manual and tightened to a set torque. Should be ok.

New wheel cylinder seals. Passenger side weather rubbers were torn and a bit of dirt was in the pistons. Replaced the seals and rubbers. (S/S sleeves fitted years ago)

New bearing cone. The bearing guy said the cup will be ok. (only 25000 ks old) Both are Japanese made.

$20 for the bearing, $90 for the wheel cylinder seals, $8 for a new hub seal. 50 year old bus and parts are still cheap.

Good morning everyone. Looks like a better sort of day coming up for us. I took the youngest gkid fishing yesty and we had a fun day, even though it was very windy with a few heavy showers. No fish to show for it. Took Bandit to the vet later in the arvo. The took some samples from the lumps. Find out Monday. Might watch a car race or two with the son today. Safe travels everybody. Have a great weekend.
Cheers
