This place is a surprise. Set back off the North Newell Highway. The Lions club run a small park. They have powered sites at $20. The facilities are clean and old. Excellent for an overnighter if you have a bit of washing to do it has a laundry with an old twin tub. Has access for big rigs. 10 powered sites with water for 8.
It is on Bygoo road beside the swimming pool. Lovely pub with very reasonable meals and great atmosphere.
They also have a free setup in Ariah street, here comes the but. right by rail line with highway noise quite loud. 3 day stay with power at $2.00 for 12 hours clean public toilets beside.
The Lions club and council are making a great effort to attract short stays. So it is well worth considering for short stops.

Update. Just spoke to some locals. Not to happy with Pariah Street free site. Happy campers putting up washing lines in park area. dumping grey water near children's playground in parks. There is also a major issue with men's funny, pippes have tree roots blocking them and it over flows. The one in Wilson street is better, all the maps and camps have it as Stewart Street but council changed name because there is another Stewert Street close by. 85 kilometres away. Residents only found out when signs changed.
