Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

This is the Goodnight page!
Ya gotta say goodnight first, THEN say good morning. 😁

Oh, and good morning Keith. 😆
Ray,
Hello there. I was there at 12 midnight or just a bit before and there was nobody else there. I didn't want to talk to myself in case the members thought that I was on the wrong pills and off my trolley so I departed and said good morning when I signed off to add to the confusion.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Dot, remember the garden is meant to be a place for pleasure not punshiment xxx

Shirley, sounds like your gang of five would be a great lot to live close to. Hope you get up to more mischief than just a game of bowls.

I was here just after midnight, last night, put up my story, it got lost and did it again. It looked like it was ok. but has disappeared into the ether. Will try again tonight.

The glass piece now has a lovely lacey edge and is getting put back into bowl shape, with a very conservative programme. Time will tell, if that is the way to go or not.

A lot of the day was spent trying to build a new cushion on the stool that goes with us to markets. Add some more foam, re-cover and bang in some stapes, easy as. Not quite. This is an ikea stool with a plastic seat, so staples don't work. I hand sewed the cover on over the new foam, and it was a pita job. Now the stool feels kinda weird. Don't know if it's the extra height in the foam or just the stool is getting old.

Gave the piano a workout, just to keep stretching the tightened strings. It will have to be tightened again in a few weeks, so I have to get the things stretched a bit before he returns. Probably a good thing. It's making me use my hands and brain in a different way. Did many running scales from top to bottom and I am glad that the neighbours were all out at work.

swwet dreams xxx

I went to sleep on the chair again last night :) Rather hot today but an even hotter one tomorrow so going to be staying inside with the air con on. The ground is as dry as a dead dingo's donger, went to plant some seedlings but had to fill the hole twice with water before actually getting them in the ground. My NZ friend actually got a plane to Nelson (sth Isl) to look at a couple of properties she is interested in, luckily the airport was open. Our granddaughter in Brisbane is now 17 gee the time flies. . Custard and stewed plums for pudding so Goodnight everyone x :D :D Goodnight Macca x :D

Dot, definitely a stay in the air conditioning day tomorrow. Enjoy the cool and calm xxxx

George, sometimes it's easier to not be home at all, but the the ostrich in us has to be disciplined and the hard decisions have to be made. It's hard being the only grown up one in the house, isn't it? Hope you get the kitchen sorted asap.

The glass bowl that I have been working on has come to the end. This was one firing too many. The glass has lost it's shine, it split in one place and rejoined n the hotter part of the firing. It looks like a lump of crap, so only one place left for it. It made a satisfying smash as it hot the bottom of the garbage bin.

I had a look at a box of unsold pendants and decided that some could do with revamping. The metal bails had to be unglued (some with great force) and then the tiny price sticker had to come off before any work could get started. So far I have a shelf of redesigned pieces sitting in the kiln and enough for tomorrow to be a busy day. It will be interesting to see if any re-designed works get sold in the coming months.

night all xxx

Sad about the bowl Deborah, waiting to see what you come up with next kiln run. As today was a hot one I poked my nose out side and came back in very quickly. Every night I open up all the windows and close them up when G gets up in the morning and we haven't had to turn the air con on until later in the afternoon, happy with that. Off to Mt Barker tomorrow, G having his ultrasound (elbow) and picking the court papers up for the continuation of the roof man case and also delivering my holden clothing I need to pass on. Oh yes another job for tomorrow, G was opening the windows in the bus and the glass fell out of the frame  he caught it before it hit the ground so that is going to the windscreen place for them to fix it. Last night I thought I would eat a couple of plums and yep it got stuck on the way down managed to puke it up and out but this is getting out of control, always have to be around someone. Bedtime so goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bob r x :D

Some first names are just not suited to New Zealand.

Pity about the bowl Deborah. I reckon it would have sold well at the proctologist convention. A bit like those heart models you see on the doctors desk.

Dot,

I turn the aircon on ( de-humidify mode) when the inside temp is at that which I want it to stay, leave it on all day until the sun leaves the solar panels. It retains that temp all day with the solar providing the power to do so.

This morning I switched it on at 8:00 am with inside temp at 21*. The current inside temp is 22* while outside temp is 29*.
