Dad was a fairly good marksman, so for a joke he was given a 12-gauge.
Not to be played the fool, he took out a bunny with it.

We found one ear.

Went out with the ex BIL rabbit shooting and one of the blokes had an under/over shotgun. We jokes about what value any rabbit he shot with that would be, until he took two out one shot after the other and the only thing missing was the head on both of them, the neck was still there and no shot pellets in it, no more heckling after that demonstration  He later dropped a roo the same way, still in mid flight, the spray pattern of the shot was so close it was almost like a single projectile.

We can get himalayin rabbits Dottie, what about them?

Himalayin, you know, the one on that's laying on the side of the road who miscalculated the time required to cross ....... AKA, road kill rabbit that is not flat or puffed up ..... the flat ones are sail rabbits cause they make a good distance when thrown and the dog gets the idea about what it's hunting, the puffed up ones are known as blown bunnies, the name says it all ..... :D

A different slant on the Osso Bucco burger. Done the meat the same as if you were doing the burgers but a side of mash potatos, peas and beans with Balsamic marinated mushrooms.

Went down a treat with my Molly, cheers Robert

Last bought goat for about $13 kg a couple of years ago(Full Goat).

Daughter sent mum a link of face book for a full goat, cut up or whole $99.

Picked it up today and looks like excellent meat. About 14.6kg which was around 6,78kg. Should have bought two, all vacuum packed and in the back fridge. Will sort the freezer out saturday.

Family goat dinner Saturday cheers Robert.
