After a quick run to the Sunshine Cost and a few days camped in Ipswich we are now camped on a friends property 35klm east of Texas Qld.
Had a relaxing coffee on their verandah after we parked up and a very nice view. Had a lot of frost here so the grass is a bit browm cheers Robert

Is that on the Warialda Rd Robert? I drove through that way yesterday. Saw some interesting re-purposing of old pallets. Never seen them as tree guards before.
It would have been a bit chilly out there today. It's blowing a gale in Stanthorpe this arvo.

Spent three nights at Tamworth and below freezing each night , left Saturday morning with -1c and a light fog.
Went to Nundle so the wife could browse the woollen mill then on south towards Junee.
Stopped the night at the Black stump rest area north of Coolah, NSW

See you soon then. Was the visit to the woolen mill productive
Remember wool doesn't weigh too much.

Robert, don't miss the railway roundhouse in Junee, if you have any interest in trains. Or the chocolate factory and whiskey distillery. You have probably noticed that the roads are a bit better now too.

Cheers

will have a look at the round house as I did my apprenticeship with the NSWGR in Newcastle. Not a whisky drinker but may look just to further my knowledge. Cheers Robert

Spending a couple of days at the Bogan Weir a few klm out of Peak Hill. Large open area with a couple of bins only, need to be self contained but fires allowed and no highway noise. Will take a drive to Dubbo today to pick up a few things. Cheers Robert
