The new project list

A lot of us have homes we spend some time in. Discussions can be about any topic that may be of interest that you can think of... renovations, purchases, expenses, etc, etc

If you use really skinny wires, just like most caravan and motorhome manufacturers do, then you can probably just run your cables along the cracks in the brickwork.

Well there's a thought, not a good one, but a thought all the same  I've ordered a few sky hooks to hold the inverter up so I can remove the bricks, if the battery cable is thick enough, that should hold it up ...... or maybe some rare earth magnets with the same pole facing each other will hold it up there ...... I might ask that bloke that made the self powered motor/alternator set up, he'd know an alternate method of keeping it up there, the velcro and double sided tape doesn't seem to be doing the job .... and they help the tiles on the space shuttle with velcro, so those tiles must be real light weight ;)

I thought I would start a thread about us...me and her..
Redesigning our kitchen...
We have so far removed one small cupboard and the oven and the dishwasher...so far so good...
Fortunately I didn't glue the bench top to the cupboards tops just screwed... the bench top is bamboo... and the next job will be to remove the bench top.... this will be harder... I glued biscuit thingys as well as those bolts that pull everything together 👿 so this bit will be challenging...as you can see the work sofar
Bernie.

Good luck Bernie. I hope all that goes well. Is the new one the same height as the benchtop?

Bernie,

I have an idea, actually I have 2. The first one got lost when I was trying to post it. It was a ripper.

Anyway, #2. Why not just connect the gas where it is and call it a BBQ? Brilliant.Jobs done and back to the mowing.

My turn, take the bench top off in one piece and cut it to fit around the new appliance :D

I have a Jon type one, send the stove back to Hardly Normal and tell them it didn't fit ....
