Dot, you are living the life mate.

Op shops tomorrow, have fun and remember, the chase is what it's all about. Something different in each shop is always a good start.xxxx
What happens when you cook glass too many times? It gets cranky and breaks into lots of little pieces. When I removed the bowl from the kiln it looked so bad, that I decided to take the risk. Anything will be better than the lump that it looked like today. Now it will be getting fired tonight to flatten it. Tomorrow it will get a full fuse firing with lots of tiny bits of crushed clear glass on it, to make some sparkle. Tuesday, hopefully it will get back to bowl shape. If it does not survive any of this, it will go in the bin.
I spent a lot of time making new pricetags for my stall. Anything that has not had a price rise, since I started is going up by minimum of $5. I had a bit of a moment when I realised that after adding up all the instalments for Lightning Ridge, I have paid $500 for two tables in their new marquee. Instead of last year being $370 for a spot in the old beer garden. The marquee may have cost them a lot more, but I will be very unhappy, if I make no profit. I love going to the ridge, but I may have to carefully consider if this is the right place for me to be selling my stuff. Our winters in Queensland, may become a thing of the past. I certainly hope not.
