Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
What a hoot hey Deborah fancy that meeting . She is a member on here as well. Did a little wander around town today, our friend that lived in Minlinton a few ks from here) now lives in NT and is down here to get his cataracts done well we are seeing him tomorrow for afternoon tea, Most of the vans have left here and as we do for entertainment we watched the man next door trying to get hitched up, took him around the 25 minutes of back and forth with the old girl waving him into the correct position Have had a few rain showers but nothing to complain about. Watching thr time trials (Mens) my fav WVA is next up will be a longer distance than usual. Had a good laugh tonight watched the show on Viceland called "The man with a penis on his arm" He lost his real one and had a man made one grafted on his arm but 6 yrs later he finally got put in the right place. He is to have 2 more ops before it will work, What a ripper it ended up. Then there was the next show called "100 Vaginas" now that was an eye opener to be sure Hmmm now to watch my BOB then off to bed so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Chuck x

Hope that bus has been outta there Dot. Wendy and hubby are still driving wheezanickinoff. It looks like a lovely comfy bus...the space makes me very jealous, but I know the mechanical issues are not that great with older buses. Only the rich and famous could afford a new bus, so I guess the same goes for most of them as to being difficult to source parts etc, xxxx
Yesterday was a typical weekday market, one pair of earrings sold. Today was much better, with us paying for the cost of the stall. Tomorrow will help us to pay the petrol bills, maybe.
Lateup today, went to see our old friend at Minlinton this arvo. He told us that his wife had MS and ended up in hosp because her cough was not improving after a few weeks of A/B's he asked why she had the cough for so long and they said she had pneumonia he asked for an X/R and bugger me she had lung cancer and not once did a Dr think to do a chest X/R, he thought he had hurt her chest from lifting her up under her arms. She lasted 4 days after the x/ray. He took care of his wife by himself, had to buy every bit of equipment, care aids, get help to shower her etc and no help from the government like others "more fortunate than himself" And this is why I will vote NO, every person needing help should e given help and not on the skin color or what they identify as. This guy is nearly 80 yrs old, had a good super fund and now he has no more than $30k for the rest of his life. Anyway lots of laughs were had, he flies back to NT after his cataract op next week. The man he is staying with was an old opal miner, apparently he hit it big time with some rare opal and he sold it some 10 yrs back for 2 mill. that guy has emphysema from the dust apparently, so was the 2 mill worth it? . Brian has just woke up and looking for his roo supper. Good luck for a bonanza of sales tomorrow Deborah. Don't know where we will be exploring tomorrow . Good old Bombers won today and we are in the final 8. Time to say goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bobr x hope you are feeling much better now

We had ok sales, but the roadie is starting to complain about the price of petrol and how long we have been away from home. So I have been investigating some different types of markets. Next weekend will be Rockhampton as usual, but instead of going home, we will be heading for Dubbo to try a Mystics fair. If their format works out for us, it would mean some fairs a lot closer to home (well in NSW anyways) and he might be happier. It also will mean staying home for more of freezing winter, I don't really think he has thought about us wearing Tshirts while our neighbours at home are freezing their bits off.
Yesterday marked our first month of being away from home.
We’ve had cold nights Deborah, the days have been 18-22c sunny very pleasant weather for winter, haven’t even worn the beanie at bowls this year thinking we might still get some colder days.
The lake is like a mill pond this morning very calm, pity it’s overcast, more light rain predicted.
"tanks" here---
I was rescued * thanks go to Margaret for getting me back on-line again.
I had my laptop set to remember my password ect. Something went wrong after all of this time not having
to enter the password. The laptop in its wisdom decided not to remember anything.
I can't blame Telstra this time.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
No worries Tanks, I was in bed very early last night. Got up late as well. Took a trip to a small town right on the sea front (Edithburg )only about 25ks away. plenty of people trying their luck from the wharf. The sea was just so calm, it was beautiful. I would say it gets extra busy at holiday times, going further afield tomorrow and this time will take the camera. Had another entertaining caravan backing lesson this arvo, I would be so embarrassed if it were me. Deborah take notice of the old boy, do your own thing, give him a job to keep him busy, give him the cooking and cleaning job that will stop the whining Another sunny day and clear blue skies hoping for the same tomorrow. For all the sickies ,hope you are all getting better , stay safe on the roads if travelling. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bobr, don't over do the unpacking either. x
