Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

No harm in trying all these different things is there? as long as things work who cares? Did heaps of potting this arvo, 3 bamboos, 2 huge ferns (? name) and a few other types of things  Getting a roll of pea straw in a day or so, usually we grow a crop of peas but they get dug back in. Baby birds are still doing well. G put the 2nd coat of heat resistant paint on the bus roof so another job done. I now can not find my Medicare card?? I think we have naughty poltergeist playing tricks. :o 1st my credit card, now Medicare card. Beginning to have the Supersparky syndrome although he just loses his glasses. I really need a hot bath to soak all the dirt I got from potting and digging in the garden so take care everyone, get better all the sickies. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

Your garden is getting better care than our poor neglected one Dot. Sleep well tomorrow then xxxx

Today was a catch up on housework day. His nibs was mowing and I thought the house was looking as neglected as the garden. The house is not too bad now. I can't fully relax in my shed when I know the house is needing some care. Tomorrow will be a chiro day, so no shed time then either.

The garden is so frustrating with the dead donga dry soil. Have to wait for the rotary hoe before we can finish the thing off. The 3 little birds are growing fast. I have been doing a bit of painting of an old cabinet so see how that turns out. should be done in a few more days. Back to AJ's tomorrow, on a kill mission of the ivy that has gone feral. Skip bin and plumber organized and then let the renovations begin. I will be glad when this work is all finished but it will look great in the end. Shower time then bed so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bobk xx :D

Dot, your AJ is lucky to have you being there to be site foreman. I am sure that she appreciates your time and efforts. Take some time to rest too Dot. xxxx

Shirley had some thunder today, didn't hear it over the rumbles of the sewing machine. We had a lot of well needed rain. Another house job done and dusted. Getting a bit closer to some shed time, but not quite ready to start on some new projects.

How are the Xmas trees going Deborah? G did his rat test today so we are both free and clear for now. Met AJ at her place today, the ceiling insulation has all been taken out and the nice freshly house is now a very dusty house  There was 3 different types up there a layer of the blow in stuff, then a pink batt layer followed by a yellow layer all showing signs of rat pee. Now all outside ready for the skip. Sparkie was there giving quote and he starts Monday, Plumber is harder to find, he wanted aJ to send him pics of work to be done ?? she even offered to pay his travel, so she told him where to go, so thats a job for Monday. Stone mason also there Monday to bash some bricks out . Tiler organized and also painter is a go. Man also getting into the front yard with his dingo thing. Us women are good at getting things going. I have taken before picsso it will be interesting. Oh yeah carpet people also coming Monday to measure up. Busy busy busy. I did a bit pf painting this arvo on a small cabinet. Of course I wanted these colours and Gman didn't, I wonder who won?? Where was Nigel when his advice is needed? Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Native Pepper's puppies x :D

Dot, you really need to stay away from the F**kbook place. It's not good for your morale at all and they don't seem to like you very much. Keep up the project developing . Sounds like it may get a bit tiring tho. xxxx

Today we had one and half inches of rain and a lot of wind. Some of the lake also had a mini cyclone (waterspout thingy), which knocked off roof tiles and fences and did a lot of damage to Swansea are. We have missed that one, thankfully. Shirley should have been ok from the major damages too. She will correct me if I am wrong!

Did a bit of experimenting in the shed. Have some molds that I have made, that don't really work so well. So I am trying to drown them and help them to be other shapes. So far, it's not really working. The stuff is just way too stiff. It's in a tray of water overnight. Tomorrow will give me the idea if it may be improvable. It starts off as a soft thick, fabric. Hardener gets rubbed into it before it is made to the desired shape, dried and then it's fired to fully set the shape.

The local f**kbook page had an add for a cupboard that looked interesting. I sent a message to ask if she would deliver it for an extra twenty dollars. She delivered it within half an hour. Tomorrow, I will be rearranging one of the guest rooms, to fit it in. Never a dull moment in this lair.

It's starting to rain again....

Fantastic news John and eve better for Faye. I got the same news, had a total body scan and heaps of blood tests incl the ca markers to be sure. Gotta be happy with that don't we?. I have the foot check up tomorrow but me thinks it didn't work as we had hoped  poop happens. :) Also while in the city we will be checking the electoral roll for confirmation of the roof man's address and the sheriff gets another crack at the scum bag. That was good service Deborah , the little paint job I am doing is taking time, mainly because Gman is making me wait a day between coats and I am using 3 colours. Hoping it is done by the weekend. Planted a couple of grasses I got from AJ's. Sparkie was there today gouging channels in the walls for the new power points etc, dust upon dust, so much for the cleaning job. Stone mason also there for a few hrs and the plumber is next week. Checked on our 3 baby honeyeater babies and they are growing fast. No rain for us down this way, G has to spray the cherry tree next , have some leaf curl starting and I reckon the lawn may have some patches of lawn grub/beetle, so another job. Had our hair cuts today and the hairdresser said she has heard there are a lot of covid / covis in Strath ?? . Here we go again. Be happy back in the lair Deborah. Hope all the sickies are getting better. Are you back on line Tanks? Take care on the roads. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight jd x :D

Great test results Dot. You can breath again another year. Keep up the painting, sounds interesting. xxxx

Today didn't work out the way I predicted. Started with the builder, adding another level to the back deck (next door, of course). It looks much more stable now.

He left us (after accepting a ton of coin of the realm), only to be replaced by the plumber. I know that it costs more to have a soft closing toilet seat, but it saves us having to regularly replace cheap toilet seats after tenants have a hard night. HIs nibs was not happy with the price, but accepted my logic. Throne has been installed and not a single one of the delightful mission brown tiles on the floor was damaged. Must be about time for that dark dark brown to be back in fashion again? I must add some orange highlights somewhere in the house

I seemed to spend a lot of the day running between the houses, good thing it wasn't very hot and the rain held off.

sweet dreams xxx
Deborah
