Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Foot man said we knew the foot op may not get to 100% but he reckons 70% looks like the best we may get but see in 12 mths. I am a bit disappointed but I knew the odds. Went to the AEC and got the address of the roof men. we were right with the 1st guy (son) so he did lie to the sheriff and his dads addy we now have. Round 2. Got my new medicare card. Hope Molly gets over Covid fast and as well as all the sickies. Off to bed now Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Macca x :D

Dot, the foot man could have suggested some other treatment, like a podiatrist or even a chiropodist (are they even a thing these days?) It might pay to try some other treatment in the meantime. Good to get the roof creeps info and now they can be charged with lying to the court as well as your charges. Hope it gets you some compensation soon xxxx

Another run of tradies. This time it was the vinyl flooring guy. We knew he was coming today but nobody told us when. He turned up at 9bloody am. Not happy with that. The carpet guy (from the same company of course) is meant to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. They have not sent any specific times or dates. I am not in the mood to chase them up, so he will arrive sometime...whenever. At least his lordship is wanting to do more wall painting in there, so he will summons me if or when, the carpet arrives. I don't think I will be rushing to complete the sale until I see that the job is done really well. They have not asked for any more dough, so not rushing. I deal with contemptuous people with my own contempt. They can beg.

Might get to my shed soon. Living in hope

Night all xxx

Deborah the foot surgeon was the last resort, have seen podiatrists (2) with no relief. My dear AJ will be helping me out and I will continue the stretching exercises and maybe things may improve but with a bit of arthritis doesn't help either = AGE my friend AGE. Had another great day, warm with a very slight breeze. The little honey eaters have left the nest, saw one baby sitting on a branch with mum and dad hovering around. Hope they make it. Ran my M8 in NZ, she finally got to have her echocardiogram yesterday so it shouldn't be long now till she has the op she needs. Then she has to have the "aliens" as she calls the growths in her gut. Poor bugger has had a really bad run. Nearly finished my cabinet painting, one more coat should do it. Take care everyone and goodnight x :D Goodnight Norman x :D

Dot, the shed is usually hot when the kiln is on. Not ready to get on with too many new projects this week. How about colour changing Christmas trees?

Hope your foot gets some relief with the exercises. xxxx

Been busy with the next door renos. Sorting through the optus crap and finally getting some posts up on Bathurst f**kbook pages. The weather is not warm here. Very cold and stormy. Rain, thunder etc, we have seen it all today.

The carpet was done today and it looks the goods. Really happy with how it was laid, so I sent the money off happily to pay for it.

Because we are heading off to Bathurst Christmas market next weekend, I have been busily trying to be proactive with some extra advertising of my own. The ladies who run this one, do a great job with tv, newspaper and signboards, but they don't appear to be using more modern things, like social media. So I am doing what I feel safe doing and getting some ads up now, to give people the idea of spending next weekend at Bathurst. While it doesn't sound much it has taken me several hours to get it all saying what I want and getting some photos off my phone to work.
Phone and computer are both throwing little hissy fits. Daughter will come in school hols and get me through this stupid problem too.

Thanks Dot, I am happy with them and hope to make some much bigger ones next year. I was surprised with how small they turned out, but as they were the first edition, they are sort of experimental. Now that I have the lights, watch me grow! xxxx

Had a very busy/crazy day here. It has been nice spring weather and several reno jobs have been underway. This afternoon, I found a text message to let me know to expect five extras for dinner tomorrow night. No problem, chook taken out of freezer, ready to cook etc. Next thing another text from our daughter, this time, asking could we take an extra three for the dinner please? I am glad that they talk to each other (occasionally), but suddenly having a full house is a bit of a stretch. Another chook came out of the freezer and now the house has been tidied of any of my Christmas shopping and menus worked out. As both our kids live on opposite sides of Sydney, we rarely get them both together, with their families. So now the weather will make the decision of where to feed the masses (inside or outside). I hope to have the verandah scrubbed and looking fit to eat at, before lunch time.

Those trees look so different from anything I have seen so go you good thing at Bathurst. Have a great feed with the mob but let them clean up. Today was a real stinker it was 42 deg so the air con did the job, the birds had their misting fan on for them and Brian stayed on the bed all day and I just stayed inside and did ZIP. AJ coming up tomorrow to meet the plumber, skip 1 is full already. Painting begins next week ready for the carpet to be laid. Busy busy still. I have got my 6mthly visit to the neck man on Monday and I have to discuss the topic of him getting rid of that stricture in my throat. To be honest I am not too keen on that, but it will be more dangerous in a few more years and that's when the medical people don't give a shit about the oldies and their complaints. Shall see Monday. My painting was delayed today because of the heat so might get it finished tomorrow. Hoping to get to Melb for Xmas as haven't seen my sister since well before my ops, also might drop into an old friend at Nelson "Vic" Ozfueller aka Steve and Lorraine. All windows opened up and a nice cool breeze coming through. Bed time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Pet-els x :D

Hi Deb,

Bathurst is a bit of a hike from here. But I like your experimental Christmas trees!
What price do you put on them?
And what's the actual size?

When you start on bigger ones for next year, what size & price range are you looking at?
Regards & God bless,
Ray
