Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Wow Deborah that is a lot of panels, the add on tv saying they can run the house for 3-4 days with their solar and ? Tesla batteries so they must have heaps of everything.
Glad to hear the negative came around for you and Molly R n Bob.
Riverlander I am having my new shingles jab tomorrow and booster for Covid one next week. As usual the younger ones want to see the Xmas decorations but don't want to do anything to help put them up or take them down. They are a really a nice display and you oldies do a good job :D
Saw my neck man today, just for fun he shoved that tube and light thing up my nose and down the throat and kept saying swallow  ! saw nothing nasty and said because my throat was so dry that when I started eating the neck muscles began to spasm hense the choking. He offered to dilate the gullett but I declined until I had to, otherwise he was happy and saw 0 nasty. See again in 6 mths wished us a merry Xmas and I got a hug :D Spoke to Helen this evening she is fine, just busy.
Looking for some rain but nothing on the radar yet. Take care everyone and goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D

Long day again, off to the GP (1 hr away) couldn't have the new shingles jab as had one 2 yrs ago and not recommended to have another within 5 years. Had 2 things burnt off inside of knee , zingy stuff alright, BP to be proud of, got a new script for the Psoriasis that pops up with some stress. The script the dermatologist gave me ran out, very handy to have on hand. Had a catch up chat, gave her the last of the lemons and we hit the road to the op shop. From there to Mt Barker for my Bone Density Scan then home for a cuppa and a well needed Pee. Back to town tomorrow for G's gut report and to catch up with some caravan friends. Then AJ's removal truck arrives Thursday so more work to be done and she is then a resident of Strath and better still only 2 minutes travel time for treatment  Picked up 6 x 25kg bags of chook poop on way home and for a bit I thought G had died. OK bed time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Busman x :D

Dot, it all depends on how they are programmed in their computer systems. I don't fully understand it, but the tesla batteries sound like like they are more expensive but may hold more power. Just the concept of a battery needing to be be programmed, is way beyond me. I tend to leave the hard thinking to my installer guy. He has been putting aboriginal outback towns onto solar for years, and is highly respected in our area. You are really busy at the moment with your mate moving in. Hope it settles down soon. xxxx

Had a very uneventful drive home from Bathurst. The promises of heavy rain and storms were a Furphy. We had a few spits here and there, but wouldn't call any of it rain. Van is now unpacked and ready for it to be taken back down the yard to return it having lake views. Nothing is too much for our poor old van!

Night all xxx
Deborah

A busy afternoon of trying to pull up a dripper system we put in when we built this place 1997, boy tough job that was so much dirt and roots plus tried getting a shrub out by using the little suzuki but that failed so it was down to brutal man and woman handling , filled the trailer pretty good. AJ is now an official resident of Strathalbyn. 8am the last trailer of hers arrives at the new place and I will be in line for 1st treatment. Right now it is time for a hot long shower to ease my soon to be aching body and hit the sack ready for a few more hrs work tomorrow. Stay safe everyone and the sickies get better soon. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Tanks x :D

"tanks" here---Take it easy old girl. Let "Our George" have a rest when the temp gets over 26c.
Even let him have a cream bun and a glass of Milk.

Dottie,
When we moved to Rutherglen we had to do a little "4WD Gardening", removing dead & dying trees.

Jim the Junior Jeep performed well. 4WD & low range 1st gear is the secret. Plus a reasonably strong 20ft length of chain hooked to the towbar. :P
Regards & God bless,
Ray

I did absolutely nothing today except go around to AJ's to see how she was managing, and she had a hell of a day, first of all the person that was to bring a heap of pot plants up this morning didn't, the new owners of her old place were sitting with the removals truck waiting for their bank had not pressed the all go button and the conveyancer said 0. George went around there at 8am to help with unloading stuff, the place is a total mess but at least her treatment room and bedroom are all nicely finished just the plumbing, extension and sparkie stuff needed to be done    She is coming around in the morning for a shower as her bathroom is now non existent. Then I got a freebie treatment on my foot and the now partly failed trigger thumb surgery. She also told me about a new treatment for my neck stricture / spasm, using Botox to stop the muscles doing their choking thing, might have the smoothest inside of my throat ;) Had some nice rain during the night but still not enough to soak the ground, have now got 7 bags of clay breaker, 6 x 25kg bags of chicken poop and 10 bags of cow poop, now just have to get hold of a tiller thingo to mix it all in. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight jd x :D

Dot, you feed your dirt that much poop and the weeds will love you. Hope the treatments are helping xxxx

Yesterday we had a skin specialist check up day. It took almost all of the day too. She was running so late and then she decided to do some surgery on both of us. His nibs has a big chunk cutout of the top of his chest. I have a smaller chunk cut from the top of my nose and big one from my back. After we get the stitches out in ten days, he will be finished. Mine are only biopsies, so there will have to be further lumps removed from me next year. Such excitement...not. I really think that the biopsies are more painful than having the whole lot taken straight out in one slug. So he got the best treatment this time and the bank card is not very happy either!

Today, we gave the keys to our new tenant. She is so excited to be coming back to our town and it will be good having another friendly neighbour next door. We have been chasing keys for days and finally managed to get the missing ones cut yesterday. Our last tenant was lovely, but she was a pita with losing keys, so we weren't surprised to find the set of keys that she gave us, had some missing. We have keys cut and ready to give to new tenant today, so all is well.

sweet dreams xxx
Deborah

AJ came for a shower this morning, she said the water was brown?? what? I thought something was wrong with either our tak or the filters but ha ha she said it was from all the dirt on her. G did some whipper snippering at her place then we got stuck into our front garden the bark and dripper system has been down since 1998 and some of the soil looked like it was moldy so the garden man will be asked to get rid of all the crap dirt and replace it with fresh stuff Now the quandary is what to use for mulch? river stones, pine chips what????? Deborah I agree with the biopsy thing, Now I will just go for the wider excision treatment and be done with it. I had 2 things frozen last week and found another 2 for next visit. Surgeon I worked with said "If there is a lump just get rid of it and be finished with it." Our raspberry canes are fruiting nicely, nothing started on the boysenberry yet, fruit trees are looking very dismal this year .Time to say goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D
