I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

More crappy news!
(and some less-crappy stuff, too.)
My surgeon has booked me into Albury Base Hospital for surgery on 21st December… which means I'll be in hospital recovering on Christmas Day.
Hospital food for Christmas Lunch…
The better news is he's confident he can remove all of the tumor in my bowel — along with a largish polyp which he couldn't grab with the up-the-bum-oscope — and stitch the bits back together so it doesn't affect my cr@pping function.
Now, isn't that just the greatest news to get in the run-up to Christmas?

I reckon it is Ray, you get to lay back and be waited on before and after Christmas .... hospital food will probably be good for a reconditioned gut, you can watch the cricket and anything you eat will also go straight through to the keeper
Hoping all goes well for you Ray, but I'm sure you will be fighting all the way till you get back home to celebrate New Yr with a glass of Durif

Some more good news:
Son-&-Heir and partner (and hopefully G'daughter — TBA) have decided to travel up from Melbourne to keep SWMBO company on Christmas Eve & Day — and to visit The Invalid as well.

All will be AOK Ray, a little thing like the big C can keep us down. Actually Christmas dinner in hospital is usually pretty good and you don't even have to clean up. Good that the lad will be coming up to join Joy and the girls.
