I am having issues with the phone and computer sharing photos at the moment, so sorry for not sharing with you.

The blob is looking much better now and after a few hours of tidying up the edges, I will return it to the house. The kiln was still cooling down at 10 am when we went to visit my chiropractor and was finished the kiln time when we returned at 1pm. I went down to the shed at 6pm to bring the blob out of the kiln, but it was still too hot to touch. The shed was way over the 40 degrees that it was outside, so the blob is still in the kiln. Once it has cooled to room temp, it will be safe for me to do the finishing, but I am not going down to the shed in 40 degree heat to work for several hours doing the sanding of the edges. It can wait.

Tonight we have a decent/wind breeze blowing, so maybe the temp will be friendlier tomorrow. My phone doesn't mention winds or cooling temps, maybe it's not getting updates from the weather mob who have probably gone to bed.

Up early this morning, AJ turned up for her shower and we were off to town. Sat out the front of the dentist clinic while she had a quick puff and did she get told off no end, she knows better but I guess she has had some really stressful weeks so I gave up. We then headed over to next door to her old place we here we picked up their dog for AJ to dog sit for a month while they go to Germany. Made sure the dog would be secure in the yard she had made for it, made a bed for it and water and nibbles until AJ got home. She messaged me she was home and extremely sore. I am not sure if she even saw the dog as she didn't get my last text . Will check her in the morning. Back to town again tomorrow, me to see oncologist then off to the cancer dental clinic, never dam well ends. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Deborah x

Left home at 1000hrs, straight into oncologists' office, after our usual chit chat he did the usual check over and happy but he ordered more blood tests as liver is fattier than usual , Then to the dentist, she had to dig crap out from under a tooth right next to the gum, ouch! anyway after some pain killer sprayed onto the site she did some fancy filling and 45 mins I walked out with some lip balm, mouth wash and samples of those fluffy looking wire tooth cleaners and toothpaste, not a bad days haul and all for 0. AJ rang me this evening, I laughed my head off she talks like me so I asked her to repeat what she said and sorry I didn't catch that, she very lady like told me to go ---- myself She is black and blue just had the screw things put in her jaw and the teeth get in in a week or so. I will get a good laugh tomorrow when she comes for her shower. Even though she is crook as a dog she is heading to town to treat someone in need. OMG had the best laugh today, AJ arrived for her shower and she talks like me, She called me bad names Flo is staying here tonight as she went out for tea and we have Rosy and Brian has been stalking her I am so tired so off to bed e buys I go. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Toolman x

It's been so flamin hot here that not a lot has been happening. To conserve power we were asked to try to use air conditioners at 28 degrees. Seeing as we still have no back up battery, we have been trying to keep the air up. Truly, we have been surprised at how cool the house feels, even with it turned to 28...outside is 40 in the shade, so when the door gets opened, it's really lovely to come inside and cool down.

We have done very little today and yesterday, just too hot to bother.

Shirley was right about it being too hot for bowls...it was just too hot.

We did our annual Christmas party at the park for the neighbours and the afternoon was really good. We had just enough breeze to stay pleasantly comfortable and the event was really good. So many new faces and a few old ones too. So we all had a good get together. More of that tomorrow too.

Flo and Rosy left for home at lunchtime. Dam dog should be a cadaver dog, she wiggled her nose under the bird cloth over the fruit trees and dug up the fish heads I buried there a week ago. Then around to AJ's for a drink along with some other friends and the tiler as well. It was a fun afternoon as AJ speech same as mine so I offered her my denture, by the end of the afternoon others were also offering her their teeth as well because she was starting to slur a bit Then to top the day off G got fish n chups for tea, I had a couple of nibbles of the lovely fish and that was it, I chucked the plate on the floor and started to choke, this time was a bad one. poor Gman was a tad panic stricken as things were going downhill, I thumped him on his back to show him what I needed but no good so after a lot of work and self-gut punching it sort of cleared along with the orange juice, I tried to wash it down. Then there was a fish bone mixed in the yuck. Have a very sore throat now so I might have to think about the Botox treatment. Glad you girls had nice gatherings. Dot, I reckon I would get a bit panicky too, if you started doing the choking thing in front of me.
Deborah, we usually have a street party at home, but I reckon we've missed this year's, as we are down south.
It's good to catch up with your neighbours and have a little social get together. It helps create a better community I think.

You will have to get a can of coke to carry in your bag, warm coke will either send that much gas back up it works like drain cleaner, or it dissolves what ever it is you are choking on .......
