All my house lights are LED, a few years ago they didn't throw much light, but now they are brilliant and my LED driving lights on the cruiser and bus are amazingly bright, as is the LED headlight and indicators on my VTX 1800. I like you can get LED globes in bright, very bright or subtle shades, in my kitchen have bright globes which are situated to throw light on areas which need it, but rest of the house soft lighting and have a couple of red light shades in the lounge, which provides a very calming environment.
