Ceduna SA

Post by Loki »

Where it rained all night and is still raining! It has been dry and dusty from Mt. Gambier thru Yorke Peninsula, the Flinders Range NP, down the east coast of the Eyre Peninsula to Port Lincoln & up the west coast to Ceduna. The rain is well needed and much welcomed.

SA has fantastic coastal scenery, friendly people and some beautiful stone buildings - the local stone is a light coral coloured limestone (I think). Traveling through this area has been enlightening and rewarding. I'm currently in a caravan park, preparing for my next adventure, which is crossing the Nullarbor - a new experience for me.

Oh yes Dot! I have long johns, wooly jumpers, a warm jacket, an offshore foul weather jacket and a Thinsulite beanie with "Tasmania" embroidered across its front. Of course, having spent maybe 10 days in long trousers in the last two years, it would be a shock to have to put all that on!

Hi People, Loki we are watching the weather just now as there is a big high building near Perth and as soon as it starts to cover the Nulla we will move across to WA. I just hate head winds..
The rain has layed the dust here and the wind has dropped. nice as just now...
Safe travels..
