Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
The thermometer under the verandah says 4 degs . Did some real womanly work in the garden this arvo, had to use the spade, mallet and axe on a couple of clumps of plants so I can swap places and some to get rid of as they clump too much. Brian had his check up this arvo, weight the same (5.1kg, beautiful silky coat, teeth/gums good, no signs to date of the suspected nasty cancer progressing, he was the first cat to have the newest worming spot on stuff in Strath, it is water based, and also does heartworm, lungworm as well as all the others plus ticks and fleas, cost a few extra $$ but not as toxic apparently. The vet was very happy with Brian so hope it continues. Got a cubic met of gravel coming next Tues to put on the floor of the storage garage so there isn't so much dust. G mowed the grass today but it is just about all weeds now, weed and feed doesn't seem to do much apart from feeding the weeds. ?? Specsavers advised our glasses are ready not bad for 1 week. Not quite tomorrow from here Ray but good morning to you. Keep warm everyone. Goodnight one and all x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I wish I had your strength. Hope that gardening doesn't wipe you out for too long xxxx
I had to get up at stoopid o'clock today, to get an appointment at the docs. If you don't get in early for one of the secret spots, the wait is three weeks. After having steroids in my knee, the report from the xray joint said that he suspected there could be a crack in the bone. My doc said to see how the steroid worked before doing anything else. With this freezing weather, every time I put my foot down on the stairs, my knee is screaming. Today, after seeing quack, I now have an appointment next week to have an MRI of the knee and we will have better knowledge of how to proceed. Getting old is such a bed of roses!
The afternoon was spent with the glue pot and a heap of pendants all being turned into pendant/brooches. I have been trialing one of my pendants, with two hidden loops. One way, it looks like a fire and turned onto the side it looks like a fish. There are times that I like to wear it each way, so I have now done the latest pendants with the same options of having different places to hang the pendant from. The backs look crappy, but having options is so different. Next weekend at Gosford Leagues club, I will trial them and see what the general public think. Their money will speak volumes.

Mine isn't even that polite, every time I look at my bank balance it has left without a peep from it, and the refill rate isn't coming close to keeping up ..... Can't wait till Margaret gets home so I can beg and plead for a hand out

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I’ve decided to retire early.
(Yes, I know. I did that 30 years ago!)
I’m off to a warm electric blanket earlier today.
G’nite all
G’nite Dottie, enjoy the rest of the BoBs Time Trials.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hope you are warm down there Dot xxxx
I think we all must be seeing the money pot slowly sinking, no different here either.
I spent a lot of today trying to get some adequate photos of the different pieces and they way they work. Not a great photographer, but I did use the light box and models etc.
This is a brooch The same piece as a pendant Turned the other way as a pendant They are the same piece and differences in light make the colours different every time. I will be tempting my f**kbook followers with a different piece each time I try to advertise a stall. Should help to keep up some interest.
Nothing else to share, so night all xxx

It’s 2345.
The girls have been out for a late night pee, the fire is down to a pile of glowing red-hot coals and the electric blanket is warming the bed.
