Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Not to say her grandfather wasn't, can't wipe the smile off his face :lol: She will be ready for the next games. Had a reply from my M8's vet in NZ, less than 24 hrs he had rand my M8 with his thoughts after looking at Brians X/Rays Below is what my M8 said he told her.......I had sent the vet all the E/Rays plus his past and current history, so he knew everything of Brian.
========================================
Had a call from Ross,Brian has a 'pre" molar that looked to be the cause ,he does not believe it is cancer ,but said you should go back to the vet who did the xrays ,find out if his bill contained the money for the so called Specialist, if so ,ring them & ask if they had booked you in all those months ago & if not tell them you are going to ring the Veterinary Society & lay a complaint for non compliance as you have had NO follow up what so ever...From what he has seen on the xray there is nothing he believes is cancer, but get another xray done.....elsewhere ....to compare with what you have..Scammers alive & well in the vet,trade as well over there maybe????That is SHITE Dot, to be treated as you have been treated by the Vet & the so called Specialist.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
So there you are, I will be following his advice up for sure.

Dot, it sounds like poor old Brian is going to need dental work and the whole prognosis is much better now. Shame your vet is a prat. Maybe write all the issues down and send him an email. Then you will be led by facts not emotions. :D Also by using email, it's in writing and he cannot dispute what you have told him. The nighty hunt ended with me finding some on web from Millers. They are coming soon. Look alright, but not really my usual bright styles. I am beyond caring now. My long covid lasted about 18months and slowly got better until one day I thought "Gee I'm not as exhausted as I have been". Take it easy, on days when you need to slow down, it aint no crime. This too will pass. xxxx

I had some good time in the shed and forgot to do the photo thing. I was too distracted by a phone call from the hospital. They demand that I come in for an afternoon for talks with their physio, dietitian, rehab person and occupational therapist. Truly, this is becoming a nightmare. The only day for me was of course the next time I have booked for a physio appointment. So need to alter that now.
The solar man has come back with the right modem to buy for this set up. My computer won't let me into the site to even look at it. I have told him to just buy it for me and add it to my bill.

Thanks Shirley, yes a good night's sleep was very helpful. Hope you are feeling better soon too. If it's long covid, it's a bummer, but you know it will go away when you least expect it. Take good care of yourself. xxx

With all the demands of this hospital visit, I am running out of times to get anything extra done. Tomorrow, I have a chiro appointment and might even get to look at a new microwave. Ours is slowly decomposing. Many of the buttons don't work anymore and the numbers in the screen are sort of there in bits of dots, I don't want to bother, but it seems like we are on borrowed time with this one. It's probably 20 years old, so it is really time for a new one.

sweet dreams out there xxx

"tanks" here---For what it's worth;
I have a Flatbed PANASONIC Inverter Microwave ( model NNSF5745).
I would highly recommend it.

Shirley glad you are starting to feel better. and YES you got it right re the Jeep :lol:
Deborah, Brian doesn't need any surgery because that tooth isn't causing any trouble at all, it is just a tooth that didn't fall out when young, a bit like an undescended testis :lol: :lol: Hope your knee is a bit kinder to you today.
VicA, you are right about what the Jeeps can do but Dads was an old jeep not like the modern ones. ;)
David I hopeyour FIL is comfortable, I did most of my training at the Wangaratta Hosp 1972 :o
While having the AJ treatment, she mentioned she had met another of her new neighbors and he just happens to be an animal dentist so you guessed it when he comes for treatment, she will ask him if he would also look at Brians X/Rays. Amazing how things just pop up when needed. We are off to Mt Barker tomorrow to see the skin checker man. Watched the bikes last night in the velodrome and won't make it tonight so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Jd and Mr Pheonix x :D

Dot, it's called karma. Things just happen at the right time when you stop looking for them. Take care mate xxxx

Thanks Keith, that is the very machine that I wanted too. But it won't fit into the space, it's 2 centimetres too tall.

We were all ready to leave for the chiro and she sent a text to say she has now power, need to reschedule. Going to her tomorrow now. As we were all dressed, we did go to do the research for the microwave. Didn't take long to decided on the fancy model that Keith suggested. It seemed perfect except that it is 2 centimetres too tall to fit in the space. Hardly Normal don't do exchange or refunds if it doesn't fit . I found that hard to believe, but that's what the man said. We returned home and did a double measure and it definitely will not fit. We saved a couple hundred dollars and have a panasonic machine that has a turntable. I really liked the idea of no turntable, maybe next time.

I sat down to read the destruction book and started to fall asleep. After an hour long nap, it was dinner time. So no shed time today.

I asked his nibs to deliver the old machine to my shed. I have a project in mind. It might take a while, but recycling it will be fun and if it works, I will be happy.

NIghty night xxx

Don't forget to solder a wire across the two wires on the capacitor before you disconnect it, the stored charge stays at the partly charged state for a long time and that won't do you much good if you get tangled across the non shorted leads, from one hand to the other, it has the potential to stop the heart ......

Dot having a snooze again? Stay sane mate xxxx

Thanks Terry. That's great information. I would not have thought of it either, so you might have saved one of us from a nasty shock .

Today was long and tiring.
First off we had to take his nibs to the GP for a routine check up, on the way home from that, we did a quick shop and emptied cash from a money machine in the wall. Groceries away and had lunch. Next off to chiro and that was brutal.

We came home from chiro and I went down to my shed. Did a couple of hours work and needed a rest. The plates have not fused enough for what I wanted and the edges were very rough. I cleaned off the edges and put them back in the kiln for a little bit hotter and a little bit longer at top heat. Tomorrow will tell If it is enough of a change or not.

I am just stuffed, so goodnight all xxx

We went to the skin checker man had a thing frozen off from under my R) eye. Picked up my new glasses and bugger me they are worse than my present ones ???? they are going back tomorrow, I got 2 pair, 1 for just reading to be left in the car and a pr of bifocals for every day. Both are worse than my old ones??? Then off to the GP and op shops :D Notice all the blossom is starting to show the colours so spring must be springing. We had rainbow trout for tea tonight and only found 5 bones. (George took the flesh off for me) hmmmmmmm . Deborah hope the kiln is good to you or better than your chiro was :lol: Jon speaking about dogs and prickles, 1st trip with our 3 dogs some yrs back our Dobe Chase saw the birds on an old footy ground and took off, :lol: 10yr growth once he realized he was running on caltrop as thick as a mattress, he was trying to keep all four paws off the ground and yelping his head off, G was walking the other 2 elsewhere so I had to make my way to Chase and carry him off the ground to Un caltrop him then I soaked his feet in salt water .It was a very sorry dog for a day or so. They are nasty weeds for sure. . The skin Dr said that if you have long covid do not try to push through it, you must rest and tiredness is the main issue with it. So now bed time Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Riverlander x :D
