Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Brian and his fandango are very intriguing Dot. Maybe leave a whole lot of china eggs in the nest to totally confuddle him and her!xxxx

David, luckily it's his nibs with the long covid, I'm just in pain all the time from my damaged knee. You know, whenever I type covid the machine thinks I'm making a spelling mistake. Get with the times machine..covid, covid, covid.

Today was a waste of time doing a whole lot of pre-op tests. After the ECG, I was asked to sign a form to say I would pay $79 for it. Non pensioners have to pay. Most of it will be repaid because we have reached that limit, but WT? Our Gp doesn't charge us for that but it was too late, I had signed it by then.

When we returned home, I returned to my question of yesterday. Are we really well enough to do a show in Sydney next weekend? He finally agreed that it probably is one step too far. So I sent off the email cancelling the show. I felt extra lousy about it because the organiser is a lovely man who made a beautiful piece of advertising for my stall with photos that I didn't know that he had taken. I haven't heard from him. I then rang the caravan park to cancel the booking. I was expecting the usual crap of "well looks like you have lost your deposit" They kindly offered to put the money in the holding account, to be used any time in the next twelve months. That was a total surprise.

The rest of the day was a phone call from my sister...doomsday dora. Do not have your knee done, it is a disaster of an op, you will never walk again..blaa blaa blaa. I don't know what she thinks I am doing right now, but it aint much walking, that's for sure. I didn't really listen to her crap and have not even thought of cancelling my surgery. I have more faith in my surgeon than she does. The best bit, is that she didn't even ask which surgeon, so she is just all hot air on this one. I'm sorry for her mate who had a bad experience, hoping that I am not in the 1% failures that my surgeon talked about. I think the odds are looking positive for me.

Hope the travel is fun for you George

night all xxx
Deborah

Evening all. Had a lovely evening at a free camp just below the weir at Wentworth NSW. Came in calm with a warmish night a nice little fire and a bottle of port. ( Faye had Baileys ) Going to Merbein tomorrow for the vanilla slice bake off and may camp at the Werrimull pub on the way home. Have the cat (Evie) with us and it seems to have settled in very well. Probably have a very close pussy with me during the night. :D
Goodnight all Cheers John

So pleased to hear you are out and about John. Our recent trip which included our fab stay at your residence in Loxton was wonderful. In the end we travelled more than 10k but without a doubt our stay at your camp ground was the highlight. I just wish you would come to Qld so we could return the favour. It won’t be so scenic but it’s not bad.
Cheers

Dot, I know you are lurking mate xxxxxx

Today I had the longest sleep in. I was rudely woken at noon by the quacks surgery...blood tests show high sugar and low iron. What do they expect to see, straight after breaky? No idea about the iron, but he can tell me next week. No hurry.

Really we did very little in the day. I did my gym work and then settled down to read the fairy story about the mako protocol for knee replacements. Apparently the weird ct scan that I had with a metal bar strapped beside me, goes off to USA, where they will make an identical knee (from titanium and plastic) the stuff the goes between the pieces is the vital bit that the surgeon has to decide on during the op. I really don't know how much of this is fantasy or fact, just hope it can be done asap. The 6th September seems a long time to wait, but that's ow the cookie crumbled.

Stay sane you lot, night all xxx
Deborah

Yeah but no but Norman and one of his daughters have been seen doing the fandango and gathering up stuff for a nest,
===================================================================================================IIt's not uncommon, but not normal, for female birds to lay eggs without a male bird being present. If you find an egg in your parakeet's cage, you're probably wondering how it happened, what to do with it, and whether or not it will hatch.

If you have a female bird who lays eggs without a mate, it doesn't necessarily mean you're going to see a baby bird or that the egg will hatch. Unless the hen has been exposed to a male bird before the egg or eggs were laid, the egg will not be fertile. In this case, most bird owners remove the egg from the cage and throw it away. Most of the time, the hens go back to their normal routines.

There is no need for a male bird to be present for a female bird to produce an egg.1 Similarly to how women ovulate approximately every 28 days, female birds will also ovulate if environmental cues line up to promote reproductive behavior.

Now, if Brian was taking on the actions Norman is being accused of doing, that would be intriguing ... and certainly worthy of a viral video

I did it again, got up early   Lady was going to drop off my new Raspberry cane in the morning well WAS. After I messaged her I got the cane at 4pm so I planted it in a big pot then into the ground. Went into the bus and sorted some things out, G got the perspex out of the door and will get it;s replacement next week. Well our real estate agent rang to say the block buyers auction flunked today so in 13 days if they don't sell we are back on the market but he sees no issues and we are not in any hurry. Hope everyone is doing ok. I'm happy the All Blacks won over the Pumas, made up for the Bombers dropping the ball for the year. I'm off to bed now so take care everyone. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bobr x :D
