Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hi Dot, you got it right, it is such a bummer. But I will be even stronger with the extra fortnight of knee exercises that I have been doing. Have not heard anything from the gasman, so have NFI what he will be doing. This is the last time for Gman to go to the block? That's come up so fast. Must feel like you have some more freedom now. xxxx

Spring has sprung here today too. I don't remember planting quite as many purple irises, they are popping up in profusion. Look so pretty and the slight breeze is keeping them waving. Just a lovely sight to see. It was a TShirt day today (that's good).

We managed to do a small shop at the little grocery shop across the lake. Definitely less people around and It felt a lot safer. Probably be my last time in public and not wearing a mask.
The afternoon was punctuated by phone messages from the hospital. The message was for surgery tomorrow. More phone calls to the admissions nurse to sort out the operating schedules and to make sure that my name is down for the 20th not tomorrow. She found my name has been listed on both dates, so further action was taken. Been a PITA.
I also spent some time in my shed. The jelly fish in the kiln is looking pathetic. Off with the hammer and got the dropped bits out of the way. More glass was added and the stuff that was hammered off was precariously balance on top of the pile of glass. Tomorrow will tell.

Up early today 0900hrs. Did 2 loads washing, cleaned the loos , pulled chairs out to get the fluff from around the legs and G man did the mop and bucket work ready for our visitors arriving after lunch. Their downsized motorhome is a sure downsize compared to their last MH, 30ft swagman down to about a 20ft winnie   but this one Jo can drive it. The swaggy was wiped off mostly due to the shitty original wiring and the cost would have been far too much. Spent all afternoon / evening talking and my voice is now nonexistent. Very chunky meat pie and vegs for tea and a beautiful apple pie and ice-cream for pudding. Brian once again made his status in his house known to their little dog  They are on their way to the cmca rally at Mt Gambier so JD will meet up with them plus Petels (Peter) etc. Pet-els will share his latest news soon (I know) We have 1 more trip to the block to pick up a couple of things, the buyers house settlement was earlier than theirs for our block so the settlement came earlier. Spring has really sprung here as well, the Scotsman's kilt has flowered, both wisterias out, roses out, the vines are budding, yellow clivias?, fake grape vine, and bottlebrushes, native frangipanis, and the crepe myrtles about to flower. But that also means lots of clean up work later. Don't forget to take your pillow to hosp and bed sox  The Jayco boys are doing quite well tonight so fingers crossed for a stage win. Safe travels everyone and a good goodnight to all, goodnight Shirley x :D

Goodnight Dot & good morning, just had a roll up at bowls, feeling very warm 24c, put my name down to play next Tuesday, probably have sore legs tomorrow.

Good that you are having a catch up with friends remember Jo from the original CMCA forum Jon too, we met Peter at the Port Stephens rally many years ago & we met a few others at George’s organised Kendall rally many, many years ago, feel I know many that I have never met in person simply by reading & messaging posts :D

Shirley, that's the best part of forums, all those friends you haven't met, yet. :D

No voice left again, Jo has fixed the phone into the car ??? I had an AJ torture time and watched Jo make an outfit in a few hrs, no pattern but I helped, I held the torch when she was trying to thread a needle. :) :) The nights are so cold but the days have been lovely. Hope the kiln has been kind to your glass Deborah. You will be just fine for a win next Tuesday Shirley :D. Hope everyone is feeling ok . Time to say Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D

Glad that you have had some visitor time and not stayed silent for too long Dot. I just haven't had the energy to face the shed yet. I suspect that the thing is haunting me and each time on fire is yet another crazy mistake. take care mate xxx

I am still doing the exercises that the physio has had me doing for the last 2 months, so there's hope for the surgery yet.

Shirley, good luck with your bowls. The weather has been glorious lately.

I spent the afternoon sorting out the latest hairclips and getting them ready for sale. Then I finally got the earrings made that were from the leftover bits. Most of the earrings and a couple of the hairclips have sort of found their way to my bedroom. The colours are so lovely and maybe I will have to make a few more pendants for myself to match the earrings and hairclips.

I just have no energy at the moment. The iron infusion was meant to give me a new lease on life....wonder where that went?
