Well Deborah, just a couple of days to go and let's hope it goes a head as planned and you are all go very soon. Take your time and relax. When are you going in ?? Thurs evening?? We will all be thinking of you. Put the red poppies into the garden, also the new blackberry ,and a smelly climber (forgot name). I also saved a small top notch pigeon that a hawk had grabbed it but landed near me so I chucked a plant pot at it and it let it go so I left the pigeon alone until it got it's act together and flew off. Brian watched but away from the little bird. All cats don't kill birds other birds do. HTFFBO went to the pictures today then went for lunch got home mid afternoon for afternoon tea. I am kidnapping her tomorrow while I have an AJ treatment and she can be my witness as to how I am tortured. Off to bed soon so Take care everyone and goodnight x Goodnight Noggins x

Dot. it's not really torture and you love it!!!! I will be going to hospital sometime on Friday. Don't know when, until I get a text late Thursday afternoon with directions that are to be followed to the T. Last time I still got the text and it was to eat minimum of food at 7;30 am and present at Hospital at 12:30. Could be totally different this week. Just hoping to get that text . xxxx

Today was off to the annual gynae check up. Another thing given a positive tick on the list. See her this time next year.
As we were in Belmont for the check up, I asked his lordship to take an out of the way detour to Belmont North. There are a sallies and vinnies right next to each other. The vinnies is getting a bit overpriced for me, but I still enjoyed the looking. At sallies, I found a book that has not been read by me, (that's very rare these days) and some things for kiln working. One was a pottery platter that has three divisions in it. Still working on the best way to use this, but the plans are endless. So it will be a good one for some mental gymnastics while I am away from my shed.

The plate that's getting warmed up , is back in tonight. It really had not sunk down into the base of the mold and had a lovely smooth round bottom. It's back in tonight with no changes, just hope it will be enough to add to the drop that has already happened.
Hobbling up the stairs has worn me out so the rest of the afternoon is a blurr.

Rest of to day was spent on the internet going in circles and getting no where

We had to be up and dressed by 7 0bloody clock, this morning for the air con guys. Well they did a great job. I couldn't stay in the tenants house while they were spraying things around, so the lovely young man sent me photos of the work in progress and when almost finished, the boss guy carried a heavy bucket across the footpaths to us to show us how filthy the unit had been... it was pitch black. They couldn't have made that one up. One of the problems is that the previous tenant ran the aircon 24/7 every day that she was there. They also told us that the aircon is close to the kitchen and it would be good to turn it off before doing any cooking, same advice was given to us. The unit in my study was full of cockroach corpses. That was interesting and he left the bloody things in the bin next to my desk yuck. Apparently that's why I had been getting water spitting at me in summer. None of the previous people who came for this problem had bothered to really open the machines up and investigate it. The one in the lounge room is not really easy to work out, but they have cleaned all sorts of stuff out and removed bits of crap. Biggest problem they can sort out is that the unit should have been put up higher on the wall (20 foot ceilings) to allow more drop to the outdoor unit. They could barely reach the unit from their ladder and I suggested that's why it is where it is. They have played with the pipes leading to the outside and are pretty sure they have it sorted. Summer will prove them right or wrong. If wrong, they will return for free. Cannot ask more than that.

Had to have a big afternoon nap, after all that excitement. Still haven't enough energy to face the stairs, so don't know how last night's kiln work went at all. His nibs turned off the power for me, but didn't dare open the kiln to a sneaky look.

Tonight I was checking emails and found one in the junk file, from the gas man (anesthetist) and he has decided that my healthfund and medicare will be paying him less than he thinks he is worth. So now pay up $500 before the op can proceed. I will ring with the card tomorrow but I don't know how they find the same figure as the surgeon and that we have reached the medicare thresh hold. If medicare give them more than they expected, what's the bet that I won't see any of that money? Greedy people.

Helen cooked our tea tonight, I ate every morsel on the plate. Had a roast chook, roast vegs and heaps of gravy. It was really lovely to have a nice meal cooked for you. She ate the chooks bum. Took Her with me to AJ's and witnessed my torture but she also heard a true story (funny one) so if you meet up with her get her to tell you about the elf. Be warned, be near a loo or wear a nappy. G and I went to the conveyancer to sign the Identification papers they asked for Birth cert, passport, driver's license, Medicare etc Then they took a pic of us to compare it to the license pics.. Apparently, this is to stop people selling other people's property. Took Helen for a drive around town so she could see how much the town has grown. Deborah I am sure you will feel much better after the op. That gas man of yours sounds like a real greedy person, I have never been asked to pay anything over the Medicare fee. Glad your air cons are clean again another thing less to worry about. Enjoy the rally jd , Darryl & Annette and Pet-els and others that are going. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Shirley x

Hi everyone went and done the washing had a coffee and a good old rockvake they don't taste like my mum used to make
We had lunch then tried to have a kip but the phone rang a few times so no luck had a bit of a headache I think it's all this bloody wind

The time in the nun's house did not trim her finger down. She meant to say rockbun and I agree with her, nothing is the same as it was. Deborah I suppose you are chomping at the bit to get tomorrow over with quick smart. All the best ol gal let us know how you get on when you are able. xx Helen and I did absolutely nothing today both buggered, but she did do her washing. I have tried to send pics three times so not spending any more time here.

The gas man rang and had a twenty minute chat about the op and my allergies. I think that was his $2,500 pre-op visit. Good thing the health fund is paying.

I may or may not came back soon. It will depend on if I can have the laptop in hospital or not.
