Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Pain is hard on the mental state, the body recovers faster than the head after depression sets in as a result of chronic pain that just never lets up ....

Hope the healing goes well Deborah, are you booked in for the other one? Or is it not bad enough yet?
A good friend of ours goes in soon to have both knees done at the same time, they are that bad, I keep putting off even approaching the whole knee replacement thing, but both of them are giving me a hard time now .... just waiting for both to give out at the same time and "Frow me to the fwor, ruffly" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-C5ax7VTGU

Onya Deb, in a few weeks you will be kicking your heels up again. I am one year in, sis is getting her first next week, bloody marvelous invention. I wonder what people did near end of life with screwed knees before this ?

Just back from a long weekend with Son-&-Heir celebrating his 45th birthday. 😁
Doesn’t seem that long ago I was changing his nappies! 😳
And just over 14 years ago I was made a grandfather!
Doesn’t time fly!!
Anyway, the birthday celebration was a meal for six (us, him & partner, partner’s stepson & mother) at an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant. Great food and good value. 👍👍
Long drive home in the rain, so it’s goodnight from me and it’s goodnight from him. 😴 💤
Regards & God bless,
Ray

It was great to see my niece and family from Melb even if just for a couple of hrs. They came over here yesterday to see some friends. Their 2 girls are fantastic, that's due to great parenting. They are looking for a new caravan, the girls 14 & 12 yrs old they have their jobs, emptying the cassette levelling the van etc etc. Thing is one of the girls 14, loves to sleep in the tent and the 12 yr old just loves a swag outside. The older girl wants to be an occupational therapist and the younger wants to be a tradie  The younger one is a real dag, nothing surprises me with her. Anyway after they left G went to the tip and scabbed some wood and I did a bit of garden stuff which stuffed me out. BOB's are on but it is done by country not teams made up of riders from anywhere. Deborah the Jayco boys are doing ok J.Vine is doing pretty well for the Ozzies .Switzerland looks a pretty country. Hope all the sickies are improving. I am off to bed e buys soon so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Chuck x :D

Dot, sounds lovely to have a surprise visit with family. Should happen to us all more often. xxxx

Last night I came on here and the computer did not co-operate. No emails and no forums, but I could get f**kbook Obviously I had an early night after that. Nobody has complained about the blackout by telstra, but it was certainly a weird thing to see the garbage was available and not much else. No explanations have been received. I had an early night, with some good drugs and a warm bed.

Today was the first day of rehab. I was handed a sheet with about 50 exercises on it. I nearly walked out at that stage. The person then said, oh you can choose 5 or 6 of these to get started with. This is such a generic program, that the physio's don't have the time to explain the exercises and write an individual plan for you. I don't really feel happy with this process and time will tell. I may fail re-hab, but I can still walk by myself.

Take care out there,
night all xxx
Deborah

Just get out there and enjoy life

Maybe find a specialised physio and pay for a few visits so they can set up the best choice of exercises for you and recommend the ones to add as the knee progressively improves .... just don't kneel on it .... when I was attending physio, one of the other attendees attempted to get off the floor by rolling over and onto his knees .... you could hear the agony in the scream .... he was also an industrial fitter and had used that method to get up all his working life .... hard to learn a new procedure after having done that method for 50 yrs or more .....

I hope I never need knee surgery!
That's the ONLY way I can regain altitude after going below the kneeling stage!
