Merimbula Lake Caravan & RV Campgrounds.

Hi... We have just spent a week at this very peaceful campground... It is on the Pambula/Bega road and about 10km from Merimbula it overlooks the back lake... It has a small caravan park with powered sites $25.00 a night off season, or you can camp in the paddock which is what we did its a hugh area, that will cost you $9.00 pv pn.. The grass is all cut and kept very clean, there are trees in one area if you require shade but we camped in the open for our solar and the weather was not to hot to do this, other services are available, like water, dump point or the use of the aminities block (which was spotless) and laundry for all to use, a load of washing was $3.00. but conditions apply if you require any of these services.. Very friendly caretakers and owner who is just starting to build this park up it was an old caravan park that had been closed for about 7 years, a swimming pool is being installed and should be ready by next summer, it would get very busy at Xmas time but while we there there was only another 4 or 5 campers most nights. Fires are allowed...On Thursdays the caretakers bring around scones and cream to each camp for afternoon tea, and on Friday they have a happy hour. We will be returning on our way home well worth a visit.

Hi Shirely you will love it there.. I forgot to mention that there is also another RV camp just down the road a little further that was $15.00 pn unpowered and $20.00 a night with power but you have to be fully self contained as there is no aminities block, he does have a dump point but he keeps it locked he also has water, but we found him not to be very friendly when we went to check it out.
