Dot, I am with you on the stupid prices for ladies haircuts. I got through covid with just thinning scissors and a mirror. I kept following the shape that was already there. Once we were allowed back to the scaredresserss, it was crowded and I really was not into crowds. So from there on, the thinning scissors have done the job at home, in my time, whenever it gets unruly. That's about every fortnight. I must have saved a bomb.xxxx

Today I managed to go up and down the long staircase, three times. The best part? I did it like a normal person. No stick and one step one foot, next step next foot. Yes I am buggered, but it felt good. That's 8 steps and a landing, followed by another 8 steps and another landing.
First time was to get to the lemon tree that is covered in bloody stink bugs. We have tried all the environmentally friendly stuff and they just keep returning. So I too out a tin of long lasting insect spray and shot it at every stink bug that I could find. Some just flew away and others fell to the ground, but I don't think it was a great success. Especially now that we have had a ton of overnight rain to wash the spray away. Anybody have an answer to get rid of these new leaf eating pests?
Next time was when his nibs returned with the caravan from getting new tyres, so that we can register it soon. I guided the van into it's hidey hole out of the way. Then upstairs for lunch.
Last event was to return to my shed and get a bit of work done. The plates both had flatted nicely, so I went ahead and re-designed them to look a bit more like I wanted
That has been a mammoth day and I am stuffed.
