Ron, you are right.
Politics and religion will certainly attract all kinds of naysayers and believers. But that is what makes this wonderful country that we live in, such a wonderful place to be. There is nothing wrong with a free and democratic society, where we all get a chance to speak our mind without fear of reprisal.
Unlike some of the other societies in the world.

But I'm sad to see that it has become a Political Football and the Trumph Tumph drum is being beaten again.
If I was still on Admin I would have shut down this subject and advised the participants to please keep their political views to themselves and off this Forum.

I agree we all have our political views, but if politics is allowed here on this forum, wait until I get into Religion.
There is a very good reason both are banned on the mess decks, mainly because it makes a mess whenever either ugly head is raised.

Ron
Ron, don't see this as a political discussion, but a reality discussion. There's nothing political about what's happening in Ukraine, but ideological. It's something which is having a bearing on the entire world, irrelevant to people political views and believe those on this forum are mature enough to look at it sensibly. Would be surprised if anyone here supported Putin and his deranged insanity. As for religion,

Thanks for the return post that is another one about your own personal views that show your own personal biases.
If you think the Ukraine , one of the most corrupt countries known, has little to do with politics guess again!

I still say if I had anything to do with the posting I would have shut it down !

WTF does Trump or Putin have to do with Caravanning ?

It's all part of our lives, just like caravaning or motorhoming, or even mowing the lawn. They all give us something to talk about.

Ron I'd like to respond a little if I may?
While I totally agree with your point of view, & to back that up you can take a little look at the RULES I originally wrote.
Many of us here were involved in the original CMCA forum & had to deal with one eyed opinionated moderators that simply removed anything or anybody that they didn't like & one of the original aims in setting up this forum was to have a place where you, I or them could speak our minds. I made a point of saying to always be respectful of other's feelings or opinions.
Seems like now we have almost moved back into the "that's my opinion & don't you dare have your own opinion".
As you know this forum isn't mine any more and what the new owners wish for it is up to them.
In this world of today it appears the outspoken minority create a 4th world war & the majority just have to suck it up.
If I need to bite my tongue any harder I'm sure it'll drop on the floor!!
......... continue as you were soldier ........
