What are the chances of finding one of these relays in Balranald .
Terry, the change-over relay is quite common.

Try this mob, here. 201 Market Street, Balranald NSW 2715
 That is where I'm getting the rego check done Jon  He had a normal type relay, but maybe try again tomorrow, possibly the hydraulic place I got the wire and terminals might surprise me and have a relay as well ....

Spent yesterday in, under, around and any other way you can think of, trying to get the thing to run on LPG. I could get all the functions on the 3 way switch to do what they should power wise when testing with the multimeter .... but it wouldn't run on gas ..... even bypassed everything I'd done, still no run on LPG. Droe to the local servo and put another 20 ltrs in, maybe it had lost all its gas ..... no.... it just got too hot and I wasn't feeling the best, so called off play for the remainer of the day.

This morning it was tracing out where I had LPG ...... all the way to the fuel cut solenoid, even removed the valve itself ..... gas all the way to there ..... removed the piston with the valve seal out of the valve body and put it back together ...... and it now runs on LPG, stops at the no fuel position and runs on petrol in the petrol position ..... but I've gained a flashing alternator light ..... I'll return for the rego inspection at 11am and hope it gets through this time ..... then I'll look at sorting the other problems

Dave, did you send it to me, Margaret or T1 Lithium? It hasn't appeared on my phone, I'll get Margaret to check the other two email account when she's up to it, the foot is not behaving itself.

As far the Winnie goes, passed rego, Margaret's daughter was planning on being in Canberra Friday afternoon and we decided to head there, got to Hay and plans had changed, so we turned left and headed to our friend's place in Grenfell. Overnight stop at Rankin Springs, a nice little caravan park there and a friendly pub across the road with great meals.
Arrived in Grenfell just about melted. It was so hot the LPG alarm, that didn't make a sound when we had the big gas leak, went nut and wouldn't shut up, the control for the engine driven air conditioner lot the plot next and shut down ...... and I hadn't properly secured the top engine hatch so it was lifting up and pumping real hot air ..... I ned up diving with one foot on the engine cover to hold it shut, the driver's window open and both roof hatches to move a bit of air through. It was so hot outside that the 200 ltrs of water we picked up at Rankin Springs, was too hot to drink as a refreshed and not quite hot enough to brew coffee or tea

The Winnie is driving excellently, forced to use cruise control because it just runs away before I've noticed, but it remains at the 100km/h up hill and down the other side.

Today's fun exercises are to find ut why the rooftop rattler has suddenly turned into fountain, and get the engine cover/s mounted air tight .... then maybe look at the engine driven air con ad see if it's a bigger problem than just heat stroke ..

Terry, i found this on a US motorhome page. Hope it can help. My old first diagnostic, go where the fingers have been. Looking for a loose connection or a bad earth. Glad you got the 3 way switch sorted.

Hooray for me. I figured out how to share that link here.
I had sent it to your mobile number that ends in 9102.
Maybe you don't have that number anymore.
Cheers
