Time have certainly changed I remember standing sorting punched cards into sequence, just to run the computer back in the early sixties when I worked for AEI & if one was out of order it would stop, we had to change plugged programmed boards for each application, not to mention their size. We processed accounts for all of Australia, they were flown in from the states & delivered by courier.

My first Mac was much more advanced than that...
The 400kb boot disk also contained the WP program (Zardax, later bought by a bloque who owned a startup called Microsoft) AND the disk still had enough space to save your document (singular... if you wanted to file the data version rather than a hard copy, you had to switch disks).

Terry/Bruce,
Please ignore the email I just sent you.
For some reason known only to Apple, my login failed, then it didn’t fail. 🙄

I don't think it's an Apple issue Ray. I had trouble on my Android phone yesterday, then with my old Windows 7 computer. I thought it might have been a PhP issue. It seems to have self corrected, unless Bruce has waved an invisible magic wand. Its all good now, for me anyway.

Dottie, if you use a product brand name in your post, it needs to be spaced every letter to get around the advertising taboo, that is what triggers the forbidden to post bit
