Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dottie (& George),
Belated Happy Anniversary! 🎉🥂

Deb,
There are ancient things called “books”.
Have you ever seen/read one?
You don’t need internet connection to use them.
And the batteries never die! 😉😂
Regards & God bless,

For those with a proper phone, you can even download books through Kindle, change the type size that makes it easier to read, a press with the thumb on the down button changes to the next page and the up button to the previous page in case you need to clarify something ..... and, it doesn't loose the page when you closed the book ..... the corners never get dog eared, no one tears the last page out and often, the next in the series is ready and waiting for you to down load it ...... Amazing what you can do with a proper phone in the 21st century Ray ;)

Been doing that since my first iPhone. 😉

iPhones are easier to carry.

Yeah, the "proper" phone is a lot easier to hold than either of the Kindle's were, and easier to read/ change pages ..... I guess if you can do it with a "proper" phone, you could get a fruit machine to do it .... with enough mucking around ;)

Yep.
Lots of mucking around.
1. Tap ‘App Store’
2. Search ‘Kindle Books’
3. Pick one
4. Tap ‘Download’
5. Wait 20 seconds.
6. Open eBook
7. Start reading.

Really complicated. 🙄

Every time you want to read a new book .... seriously ..... on a "Proper" phone, Kindle app and that's it, the tab stays on the menu on what ever page you want it, one touch and your in. If you want to read the next in the series, arrow top left corner and they are listed out, or books of a similar genre .....

Bernie,
I suggest you start with The Very Hungry Caterpillar and work up from there to Dr Seuss. 😂🤣
