Terry after using Starlink while travelling for the last couple of months I would just ditch the satellite TV, TV antenna and mobile pnone booster and just fit Starlink as it can supply everything without any problems
The removal of the 3G and the upgrading of mobiles to 5G has resulted in a reduction of phone service in many regional areas to the stage that combined with increased use of the phone networks for data that of an evening it is next to useless lots of the time.
Phone calls are often clearer through Starlink than the mobile system.
We've camped in just about full tree cover in quite a few places but found if there is a car sized hole in the tree canopy then it will work ok but of course slower then the norm but it will work. Most of the time I mounted it on a 3D printed mount on either the sunvisor or rear tyre carrier depending on how we were parked, only a few times did I use the supplied base (we have a gen2 dishy) to place it on the ground away from the Oka to obtain a decent view of the sky.
I run it on 12v with a Yaosheng 3 in 1 and a TPlink 12v modem to replace the Sartlink 240v one a drop power consumption.
I can also leave the dishy flat on top of the spare tyre while mobile and it works fine.
We had two small motorhomes travelling with us for most of the time and they had no trouble running phones and smart TV's off our Starlink as well.

Well, yet another round of quotes to demolish the house remains, only $860 short of what we said we wanted in the first place  but now we have seen a builder and they say to clear all of the block, the teenage retreat (lined garage size shed) and all the concrete under and around that including the retaining wall sort of thing that is at the end of the carport. We are now at 8 mths since the fire, we could have had the first half of the house building started if they hadn't kept mucking around trying to penny pinch. Now they are going to have to get yet another lot of quotes and surely it will come to more than we wanted to cover the demolition for us to do it ourselves

At least we have now found a house builder who believes they can build what we want with us only having to did a few thousand out the superfund to add to the insurance pay out ..... and approx. 2 yrs from when we give them the deposit and sign the contract to walking through the front door ...... so that gives us some time to travel while we are without a house .... that will give us enough time to decide if we still want a home base, if we want to rent it out or sell it, and maybe set up base somewhere else .....

So, at least it seems we might get moving on the whole house saga so we can get on with living

Thats probably about the best thing you've been about to post since your world fell apart a while back.
It's just a pity that the insurance mobs piss everyone about and penny pinch.
I'm sure it just adds to the cost in the long run.
Cheers

I think NRMA had a slogan 'We can't help but help ourselves to maximise profits" I guess we were lucky when NRMA took over SGIC and decided they no longer wanted some part of the workshop insurance, but they were happy to cover the rest. After previous experiences with insurance companies each trying to say it's the other insurance companies problem, Margaret said it was all or nothing. Had to jump through hoops to find another insurance company that would cover everything as far as the business and the building insurance ...... discovered we were under insured, got that sorted, 12 mths later the workshop burnt down.
There was so much stress with the workshop, Margaret didn't feel she was up to going through the hassles of finding another insurer for the house3 mths later when the house insurance came up, so she just renewed it and was planning to change companies when this policy was due to expire ........ If we had done it the same time as the workshop, all would have been fine, but if we had changed a few mths before the house burnt to the ground ..... it would have looked very suspicious ...... So, unfortunately, we were under insured for replacement value, even though we were insured for double the price we paid for the house and land ..... Covid just doubled building prices over that yr period .....

All the other insurance just paid up the value of the insurance policy, but not NRMA, it has been a fight from the beginning ...... Bad Bookies as the mate would say, don't mind collecting the money for the bet, but don't want to pay up if they loose .....
