Thought for Today

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It seems like that these days. I blame Jeff Kennett for the ever increasing price of essential commodities like power and water. Privatisation of govt departments back in the 70's -80's didn't help anyone except the big guys. And then Labour got into power and stuffed it completely in Vic.
But that's another story, unfortunately.

Why age gracefully,
when you can age like an old cheese:
full of character and slightly offensive.

Or, the older you get, the more bity you get, till you are that dry and hard, you are no longer interesting ...... Is that where the term, "my old cheese" came from?

Paddy says, "my mate Mick came off his motorbike yesterday"
Murphy says, "oh dear"
Paddy says, "yes he has brain damage, two broken arms and is blind in one eye"
"bloody hell" says Murphy, "no wonder he fell off"

Remember when plastic surgery was a taboo subject?
These days, you mention Botox and no-one raises an eyebrow.

Tomorrow I’m taking my winecask back to the liquor store for a refund.
When I bought it, the sales person told me that once opened it would last six weeks.
It only lasted two nights.

I have just found this on farcebook.
I found it very appropriate, at least for me anyway.
