T1,
You’ll keep… 😤

Another treatment delay — low platelets again.
Frustrating.
Hadn’t heard from oncologist by departure time, so assumed it was on.
Pathology results were late getting to him. Samples had been sent to Melbourne rather than the Albury lab. 🙄
Roll on next week… 🤞

Oncologist has decided to change my schedule from every two weeks to every three weeks. Figures that should give my platelets time to recover.
CAT scan Monday morning to see what’s where and who’s paying.
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Keep at it Ray, you'll get this beat, the extra week might be all you need between the treatments, gives the body a better change to recover as well.

SOME GOOD NEWS:
On 1st of last December we took (temporary) custody of a rescued Greyhound to be her foster-parents until the charity organisation could find her a permanent home.
That meant THREE Greyhounds in the house! 😱
She’s a very sweet, good natured girl who craves love and affection. ❤️❤️

Coupla days ago we received an application to adopt her.
Profile looked good, and after an hour or so on the phone with them, we reckoned that they were a good match, and passed on our support to the charity.
The couple arrived yesterday and fell in love with our extra girl. This morning at 0930 they put her in their car (where she immediately relaxed and laid down) and returned to their home in suburban Melbourne. ❤️❤️🚗👏
A real success story!

Great to see Ray. Greyhounds are z very misunderstood breed, yes, they can run fast, yes, they can be trained to attack smaller animals, but it isn't in their nature.
My youngest daughter has a number of adopted greyhounds, she is a hard as nails softy when it comes to animals in need ...... hard to reconcile with someone who was on the cutting edge of advanced explosives design for the military .... until the chemicals (or whatever) started to seriously affect her health, so she had to quite a job she loved ..... The home where we bought our Silver Prius had 3 adopted greyhounds, one of the people living there found a near dead stray kitten and brought it home ..... you get the picture of what the people that lived there were like  Anyway, they were initially worried about the greyhounds and such a small defenceless ball of matted fluff ..... This kitten lived in the middle of the dining room table
One member of the household came into the room to see one of the greyhounds with it's front legs up on the side of the table looming over the kitten, then noted the greyhound wasn't mouth open over the kitten but rather nudging it back toward the centre of the table .... all the while, the kitten was spitting and hiss and scratching the greyhound's snout .....

After a day or so, the kitten accepted the greyhounds had its best interests at heart and everything settled down on the kitten's side and the anxiety of the household in general.
It was heart warming to watch these 3 greyhounds, all taking turns to check on the kitten that it wasn't about to walk off the edge of the table and that I wasn't going to hurt it when I picked it up to give it a cuddle.

Sorry If I took your tread off track Ray, I'll hand it back over to you now
