Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dottie,
I have similar problems with lack of energy.
Some days I feel I just can’t get out of my own way.
Fortunately I have my very own slave-driver to ‘motivate’ me!😁
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Dot I did try to answer you at 2am this morning unfortunately I received the PHP treatment :( would be so good if you could send me 8 hours sleep time :D will be interesting to hear your sleep study results 🤔thanks for the thought.

Annoying light rain occasionally just spits, grey cloudy sky, sun trying hard to shine, it did rain enough to wet the ground at about 8am, so once again the glass brick man postponed until tomorrow, 🤞🏽he can start tomorrow, it should only take 2 days.
Only 23c today & a really cold southerly wind, g’son just messaged me that he’s working out at Scone today, probably colder out there, 194kms 2hrs 24mins.

All the running back and forth to Adelaide and the crawling around in the battery compartment and under the Winnie, really takes it out of me lately, the added stress of trying to get the Winnie ready for the road in the next 3 weeks, finally getting the house demolition sorted, it really is wearing me out. The morning headache and neck ache are so intense now, I'm hardly functional until lunch time.
Friday afternoon I collect the little bucket loader from the mob just down the road for Sat and Sun to try to get the pavers up and stacked somewhere before the demolition people bring in a 16 tonne excavator with a concrete pick attached to bust up the bathroom/laundry/toilet/backroom slab and the slab under the carport .... given up trying to get them to demolish the teenage retreat and remove that concrete as well, so we will have to pay for another mob to do that part
To make it just a tad more stressful, Friday 1pm is needles in the eyes, so I have to be able to see well enough and we have to be home in time to collect the bucket loader before they shut shop ... or I will simply miss out on saving the pavers ..... the thing is booked out weeks in advance so next week end would be out and the following weekend in Easter I believe, so it will certainly be booked out for that.
I'm guessing the demo people will try to get the house demo completed before Easter, I think the plan is to be on the road the Tuesday after Easter .... so, time is running out fast ....
As soon as I lie down, all this starts rushing through my head, so sleep is a very hit and miss thing

Hang in there Terry.

Don't worry about the pavers.
Let them go.
In the scheme of things, it's not worth the worry, hassle or cost.

Just get yourself sorted for Taggerty and a few days of rest.

Dot, like you , I have some days that are just right offs. Sorry it's happening to you too. Enjoy the good days and the rest can just pass. xxxx

Shirley, you still need to rest, let your body do the talking not the bowls. Have you tried to take magnesium at bedtime? Seems to be helping me to get better sleep. With the crazy cold winds that are blowing tonight, I think it might even be a doona night here. Always manage to sleep better if snuggled up under the doona.

Terry, have you priced pavers lately? Salvaging some old pavers is just not worth the hassle, or the expense. You are putting yourself under pressure for no real reason. Put your energy into the things that you really need to get done and respect that your body is not still in teenage years.

Today was another slow day here. His lordship had to have a melanoma cut from his ear. What we didn't know, was that she planned on doing a skin graft and that was very time consuming, expensive and will get painful for him later tonight. I have given him some of my strong stuff, so he will sleep through the night. I hope he doesn't wake in pain tomorrow.

I had given the kiln man until tonight to communicate with me. The silence has been deafening. I will start ringing my old kilnman tomorrow and start the whole process over again. I knew that today would not be good for making long phone calls, so tomorrow will be the right time to get back to trying my luck with the original bloke. That of course, will depend on how much nursing duties are needed up in the main house. I am starting to have shed withdrawal symptoms.

Another 1/2 day asleep  We took the bus out for the run we had planned but a noise that we had had before started up, a quick turn around and headed for home, suspecting a shock absorber this time the passenger side one. George was having trouble getting under the bus so he rang the nice fix it man will come in the morning to have a look and fix the thing. Shirley what does your GP say about your lack of sleep? Deborah how come his nibs little op cost you heaps, you are in private health aren't you? I'm surprised the Dr didn't give you some good pain pills. Getting cold at night here as well but I still get a dose of the "throw the bedding off and legs out the side" and of course George being the cold frog that he is always has a spare cover at the end of the bed. Plus Brian is a little hot ball of fur. Would you believe the spring bulbs are starting to poke their heads through already. Repotted one of the dead looking bamboos, and gave it the Black Magic or something potting mix and it may come back, all the others are shooting again and the hoya's are aplenty and nearly flowering as well. Tonight for t G got a pack of peppered steak out of the freezer, cooked foe 4 minutes and bugger me it was so tough even G with his own fangs had trouble chewing it SO it's another return trip to the shop, sick to bits of getting the shitty meat etc and the good stuff going OS, so now the floods will be the excuse to up the prices on the shit stuff. I am off to the local dental clinic tomorrow (the one that said the man was trained in cancer dental care) if he is unable to be understood then I will be off out of there, how can you communicate when you have no idea what they are saying or going to do??? Bed time so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bobr x :D

This wasn't crap meat Bernie it was $48 kg, (on special) I did my complaint and got refund as I always keep my receipts.
I think I may go back to a butcher but the one we used to use went out of business due to coles.

Dot, all the good butchers are out in the country towns, nowhere near coles. Our private health fund will give us back some returns, but we have to wait for that to happen. I have to fill in the forms and print out copies of the receipts etc and beg the health fund, because this could have been considered cosmetic surgery (honestly, they will try that line first) Good luck with the next dentist. My Eye man has a surname that is so weird that he is just Dr Jerry and I was pleasantly surprised to find that he is an Aussie through and through (just looks very Asian, but born here) xxxx

Today was cold, threatening to rain, but only light showers and then tonight, it's flamin cold.

After clearing out a lot of old stuff from the filing cabinet earlier in the week, today was the shredding day. Such joy to see 3 very well packed garbage bags of shredded paper for the worm farm. They will love getting a warm topcoat on their beds and the best thing is that when we are away and the veggie peels dry up, they eat their bedding. Very ecologically minded are we!

Patrol needs new tyres, so that's for tomorrow and then inspection for rego on Thursday. Bank balance is about to head South..oops.
