Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, slave driver! Last night's bowl looks wonky, so it's back to the drawing board. I am finally getting the jobs done that only the bigger kiln can do. Today, it's mending a splat bowl that had a broken leg at last markets...sometimes just the travel gets them into mischief in their crates and legs get broken. no biggie, just a pita. How about you only do a short time in the garden each day? Then you will be helpful more often and less painful the rest of the time. Hope the aches go away soon. Tell Mr G. that he is not allowed to climb ladders. xxxx

David and Terrie, we all feel your pain. That was probably the hardest day in your life. Sending great vibes and positive thoughts. Bandit is crossing the rainbow bridge and will be waiting for you xxx

Today was exciting....not. Grocery day and boy the shop was busy. Every aisle had "personal shoppers" with their bloody great big carts doing the shopping for the ones who don't shop. I felt so small today. I know I am 5foot short, but so much of the stuff that we needed was on the top shelf and I had to ask his lordship to help. I hate to ask strangers to get stuff from above my head, makes me feel old and vulnerable.

Just received an email from a different crystals mob, offering a stall in May at Swansea. As this is only a 20 minute drive up the highway, I think it may be easily doable. The cost of stall and ease pf access are my next questions, but it sounds interesting.

Take care,
nighty night xxx
Deborah

He was a beautiful dog, a gentle boy and after a rotten start to his life he hit the jackpot when he was adopted into David and Terrie's life. Many good memories of this boy.
Yes mummy Deborah I will take note of your advice and do shorter stints outside. Spent yesterday in bed as expected. Silly me I know. George ordered the new guttering for the little shed, the man that was supposed to ring and call around to give a quote for relacing it of course did neither so he has lost the job. George and I have sussed out the safest way and we shall be doing it ourselves. Had an email to say the new shutters will be getting done this Tuesday, going to try to squeeze new house gutters and leaf guard out of them to match their opposition's offer. Worth a try. Xmas is on it's way   Thanks for the update on dear Doone Tanks, she is a lovely lady. We did have a few drops of rain but nothing to rave about though. Also repotted some plants that were busting out of their pots. BOB's starting up tomorrow so at last something to see ;) ;) Stay safe everyone and Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Robert n Bob x :D

SInce this crappy knee thing Dot, I have had to do a lot less in the garden. Yes the weeds are growing faster than we can keep up with them, now that I am lucky to get in maybe 15 minutes in the garden each day. It's a bugger when you realise that the bones don't want to share with the rest of your body and the brain forgets that there are some ancient pieces working the frame. Keep up the good work mate xxxx

As this is the last day of extra sunlight, I made the most of it. I spent a long time chopping off the hems of my newer jeans and making them shorter. This is ironic in that I bought jeans that were made for short people, so I have to hem them anyway. Normal jeans always come down way past the tops of my toes and are impossible to get a decent measurement off them. These ones are a lot easier to get the length almost right. Once the sunlight got too bright on the machine, I left that job. I can only wear them one pair at a time!

Pulled the new-ish vacuum apart to find it's filters and wash them, after it started chucking dust back at the carpet. The filter didn't look that bad, so next time the job gets done I will be inspecting the floor very closely.

Finally down to the kiln, where a lovely plate is looking perfect. Tonight, it's getting bent up into a more useful shape and hopefully, tomorrow it will be out for the last time. I started on a couple of new designs for pendants, but they need a lot more refining before they can go on sale. Happy times.

night all xxx

I would see it as a good thing that you can't get onto farcebook Dottie, G mail just wants to be sure it's you and not giving your gossip to someone else and leaving them totally confused ;)

Dot, I just checked Farcebook for you. It's full of the usual dribble and non-factual rubbish that hasn't even been proof read, let alone fact checked.
If anything important happens it'll be on the late news.

Dot, don't worry about it , as David says, there's nothing interesting on it anyway... you know why I call it f**kbook? It messes with too many people's lives. You sound a bit more positive mate xxxx

George, yes it may be a muscle thing or it may be a reaction to you new drugs. Much better to have it properly checked before you get onto a plane and be stuck away from emergency care if you need it, for two days. You are getting this advice from us all, not because we are busy bodies, but because we care.xxx

Shirley, will you be back to bowling soon? While the sun is so beautiful, it seems a waste, but if you are not quite ready, home is the best place for you. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts xx

I finished off the lopping and sewing of jeans before heading back to my shed. Last night's plate looks pretty good and the wonky one from earlier this week is back in tonight, getting re-shaped. I am back to enjoying just doing stuff and not always highly successfully but keeping my mind active.

The rest of the day was spent being domestic. I hate that word, almost as much as I hate the cooking and cleaning part of it.
night all xxx

I like FB and the cartoons coming out great laughs at last. Had another Lazy day in bed :( and I get so cranky not being able to wake up. Hope for answers this week from seep clinic. I watched the BOB's and OMG it was a ripper, As expected one of my boys did his usual thing and took off on his own uphill, shaking off his great rival and he stayed in front until the end another win to the "POG" my other boy W.V.A is coming back from bad crash injuries but he came in 4th, just pipped for 3rd. I did absolutely 0 today domesticated I am not not even bothered with the 0 word ;) ;) G put air in the bus wheels and cleaned the wheels. The shutter man is coming tomorrow for the last measurements. Going to use the old ones for the birds roof, that will keep them warmer throughout winter. My Hoyas are beginning to flower and some have crept through the chains they are being hung up with. Starting to notice the coolness settling in about 5pm now soon it will be dark by 6pm and winter will be here again. Still looking forward to heading North , got to get to Mt Isa to catch up with good friends and to give the White Pussy the brush off. Our doggie sitting begins on the 27th and Brian has his plan all worked out. Might have to ask a favor of David seeing as he likes walking.Time for bed e buys again so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight NC George x :D

I can't wait to see Dave throw the ball and Brian just give him a "You threw it, you can go and fetch it" look  A mouse toy on a long string might get his interest though ;)
But then Dottie would have to get over her fear of letting him off the lead ..... Brian knows which side his bread is buttered, he won't be away very long, even if he did try out his new freedom for a bit
