Terry undies are of no interest to me, I don't wear them  . Save your water and use the wool wash = NO rinsing needed. How much water does it use for just a wash?

Socks and jocks Jon, I can identify each type, wash them and hang them on the line ;) :D The 16 T shirts and one of Margaret's shirts filled the clothes line, but too dark really for photo to turn out ... but I'll give it a try ....

Sortta worked

It shakes the Winnie a bit on spin dry, but not too bad

75 ltrs total for two full wash and rinse cycles, so the rinse water will have to go in for the next wash when we are on the road, that's about 2/3rds of it, so maybe 12 to 15 ltrs per wash ..... Doesn't really matter when we are on mains water, we can carry 500 ltrs of fresh water, so not a serious problem, I guess we will add a 200 ltr bladder tank to the back of the MG4 if we camp up away from any water for a long period, but we can pump out of a river in needed for showers, toilet flushing and washing .... if we can find clean ones that are still flowing of course .....
The Murray looks like it's flowing upside down after the Darling joins it at Wentworth ....

You'd be a brave girl wearing Terry's undies.

Not sure if there will be enough room without it rubbing 0n the front or the back of the machine while it's doing the spin cycle ...... it gets a bit Elon Musk'ish, no chainsaws, but it does dance around a bit .....

I'll check it out after a I spray paint my scratch marks, but once it's clipped on, it is a complete machine dismantle to get to the clips to remove it again ..... and I doubt it would fit back out the hole in the floor .... the door has to be removed to get it in or out .... maybe I could cut it and just put the sides on ...... The conduit got the cables to the inverter run across the front just up behind the bin top lip .....

I guess then, a panel to separate the wet area from the batteries will be needed.

The shaking might be because to many clothes are in the wash??

Front load washing machines, at that last high speed spin, all shake, this one is no different.
Can't see any reason to separate the 12v battery from the washing machine, it's not like it sprays water everywhere

Elon Musk'ish might have been an exaggeration, it doesn't actually jump off the ground ...... maybe more a Trump dance at 5 x speed .... just moves around without the feet moving for the original position

Anyway, the last load of 7 prs of jeans in completed, so 4 loads to do a mths clothes washing.... well, not quite, still gotta do the sheets and pillow cases and my work clothes and the towels..... so another 4 loads to go .... run out of somewhere to hang them at the moment ...... Without that extra hr of sunlight, the clothes take longer to dry ;)
