Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Shirley glad to hear you are improving and you are getting those bowls out again. Congrats on the win. AJ came around and took some of her left overs from garage sale home with another trip needed. Put the electric blanket back on the bed today and the winter sheets. Tomorrow we take possession of Rosy dog for the next 3 weeks while her mum heads to UK. Brian will be a bit P'd off as she tries to pinch his food if I am not quick enough to pick it up. Took the sterri strips off my nose today and it looks ok just like Rudolf's. Good luck with the kiln contents Deborah. Safe travels everyone and all sickies are on the improve. Goodnight everyone :D x Goodnight Margaret :D x

Dot, the honker must feel a lot more relaxed without those steri strips....hate the things. Is it looking friendly enough to make you feel ok about it? Have fun with your next lodger, poor Brian. He will cope too. xxxx

Shirley, great to read that you are back to playing in competitions and well done, doing the winning skipper dance. Hope you have many more of those wins mate.

The kiln was behaving, thankfully. It has a piece of shattered glass splat bowl that has now been fully fused and is getting a bit of a bend up tonight to make it a bit more bowl like. Fingers crossed that this will be it's last foray in the kiln. The stack of tiny pieces have all been glued onto hairclips. My itchy fingers can tell you all about that. I hate having to peel off the bits of glue from my fingers but it is what it is. 14 large hairclips and 6 small ones, should keep my stall stocked for a while. I do love that people are now coming back to buy more, so they must like them.
Each piece of glass started out as a centimetre square. Amazing that most of them come out of the kiln as rectangles. I was able to use up nearly all of the bits that I cut, so no messy leftovers to be made into earrings.

Not a lot happening in the lair. His nobs has gone on strike. I can't figure out if he is just being retired (very not like him) or still has lingering covid. Our clothes line is looking very sad. The hills hoist is slowly collapsing from the tree damage in November. I can't get a full run of line to put up sheets, so it's going to become a priority soon.

That's all from the lair,
night all xxx
Deborah

Deborah the nose looks a bit raw and I am not going out  Heaps of Aleo V being applied. Did some more potting up and AJ rang to say she has heaps of cuttings for me so tomorrow looks like another potting up but need more potting mix. Have heaps of stuff now. Miss Rosy arrived this arvo, she had had a bath and wormed/ flead etc and when I brushed her the amount of hair was heaps upon heaps lucky for the birds. Brian claimed her bed that is left here so she had Brians fluffy bed and I put it into a fruit box so she felt wrapped up. She is now in her bed beside George both fast asleep. I watched the BOB's and my boy (the Pog) did the win again with ease. He has a month off now before the next race before the tour de france. Might go for a drive tomorrow arvo to ??? Take care everyone x :D Goodnight NC George x :D Welcome home.

Another slow day for me, took a cabinet AJ liked around to her place and got some squash seedlings she had left for me then potted up some more plants while George cleared all the leaves off the garden so now it is time for the new mulch to be put down for the winter. Naughty Rosy snuck into the bedroom and devoured most of Brian's nibbles which I had put on my bedside table, we were outside when this crime was committed so she had a smaller dinner  Shirley how did Bruce's eye jabs go? If I ever need those I hope the needles are replaced by something else. Bernie are you happy with all the work you have done to your motorhome and how is it traveling?Noticed some orange little bugs on a hoya's stem, I squashed them all and haven't seen any on the other plants. Brian is curled up in Rosy'd bed and Rosy is asleep in Brian's bed,??Oh my nose tip looks like it has a measle and a big one at that right on the tip so a mask will be worn when out in public. Hope Margaret is improving now she is home and that all the sickies are also improving. Time for a shower and hopefully stay awake long enough to watch the first 10 minutes of the Stephen Colbert Late Show   Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Macca x :D

Dot, The eye jab was ok, very uncomfortable, sore & affected by light, Bruce laid down resting most of the day unable to do anything. The specialist & assistant were very happy on paper with all the test results, they showed a slight improvement, considering his age they didn’t think the eye would improve :D
Agree with you, hope that I never need to have eye injections.
Good night 💤💤

Glad your little monsters are behaving ok for you Dot. Brian is showing he's still the boss I guess, but it sounds like a cute sort of espionage to me. xxxx

Shirley, it doesn't sound too happy for Bruce. My mantra at the moment is "getting old sux". Hope you have not been too flood affected mate.

Our rain levels so far are up to 3 inches of rain since Saturday. Today we even had some blue sky, for at least twenty minutes. It didn't take long for the black clouds to reappear and the rain was back falling again. Last night, we were very sleepless. We could hear a tiny drip but couldn't identify it's location. In broad daylight, we found it is only a tiny puddle on the doorframe and carpet , between our bed and the glass sliding door to outside. As there is a very big awning over the door way, it was surprising to find water had gotten in there at all. We also realised that last night the rain was really heavy and coming in at all directions. I think we were lucky that was the only damp spot. We checked during some of today's downpours, but the leak isn't happening again, thanks goodness.

I cleaned the carpets with the older shark cleaner and then decided to try the shark mob once more. I found a phone contact number so decided to try to talk to a human. He was very nice to chat with and he suggested that I pull the roller part off the tube and check there is no obstruction. I found a tiny piece of plastic that was causing a bit of a blockage. The instruction book only geos as far as telling you to clean the filters. Once I thought about it, this was really common sense, but the manual should tell you these things as well. The machine is working a bit better now, but I will reserve judgement until it has to work on dirty floors.

After that fuss, not a lot of other things happened around here. I sat down with a real book and did some reading in a warm chair.

night all xxx

Dot, how is the mask wearing? Better to give the wound some fresh air to heal faster, bugga what other people think. His nibs ear has finally lost the scab and the whole ear looks like nothing has been done to it. He was lucky to find a good skin doc methinks. xxxx

Bernie...you might be in trouble...

Not a lot happening here. One of our new caravan tyres has been leaking. He returned it to the workshop for the third time and asked them to do a better job. We were surprised to get a phone call to say there is nothing wrong with the tyre. The wheel has a spoke that is bent so badly that it's putting pressure on the tyre. Back to the drawing board. He was going to try to get an exact match to the other rim, but I asked him "when do you see both sides of a caravan at the same time"? It's only a single axle van, so he is now researching replacement wheels, knowing that they don't have to be exactly the same.

This afternoon we had a massive storm and more rain falling during the evening. The weather man says it's a serious "weather event" . Truly, why not just say that more rain is coming and leave it at that?

Nighty night xxx

Good evening Deborah,
Maybe try Central Coast Caravan Dismantlers, 16 Arizona Rd., Charmhaven, 4394 0114 for the rims 🤔 close to home. :D
