Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Labour well & truly won the election, my dear old Dad would be very happy, he was a member of the Labour Party always decorated one of his trucks for the May Day procession.
Liberal party will need a new leader after Dutton loosing his own seat.

Terry, think you’ll have to wait till tomorrow for the big announcement they must all be celebrating 🍻 🍹 🍾🥂 🍸

Born and raised in a steel town, Labor through to the sole, my father would be very disappointed in me if he was still with us, he was to the right of conservative  My Grandfather Davy (mum's side) was the chief engineer at Lithgow Small Arms works and was head hunted to design and build the Port Kembla Steel Works, then known as the Hoskins Family Kembla Works ...... yet he was a Labor man through to the sole as well, so smarts, social status and education has nothing to do with your political belief it seems.

The Libs lost both their leader and their future leader, along with quite few others ..... they might be struggling to fight off the Nationals as the controlling party in the coalition ......

Good morning everyone.
The vote for the spoon 🥄 will be given today...to much frivolity yesterday for the count 😁..
Another great day and looks like the same for today...
Plus it's bacon and eggs day...in taggerty in my motorhome 😁😇😜.
I got a call from Carol yesterday arvo saying that the power in the house has cut off 🤬 and he's me 1781ks from home 😡😡... so I told her to check all the circuit breakers... All were good... cept one...so I rang a neighbour and asked could he go around and check. Same outcome...I asked him to ring the Lecky...who is also our posty.. could he come and look for us... he's coming today at 8am... in the meantime I got them to get extensions cords and run the house pump and the fridges from the PowerPoints that are still operating... only half the house was off....so all good now till the posty/Lecky gets there this morning...
Keep safe.
Bernie.

Morning all.

Stunning day.

At about 5am this morning, there was a really strange stationary satellite glowing super bright and big ....about 30* above the horizon and about 35* east from Taggerty.

It's OK Jon!
Probably the Labor Gov making sure your 'gang' isn't building a nuclear power station.
Might be that Russian spacecraft on it's way?

Thanks Bruce,

That will be it. It's bright as, and about the same height as the space station. Just "stationary". Wonder where it will be tomorrow???

Of course it wasn't me Terry. You should know better than that.
I'll be the perpetual bridesmaid. I'm good at that. :D
See the Goodnight thread for results.

Goodmorning one and all. Chopper from prang has flown over on it's way to Flinders. Hope you all have a better day than those in the accident.

Good morning.
Not a good likeness Dot... but close enough 😁😁😜.
Well after the best weather ever... it's time to take the chocks out... and start north towards home...I'm going to visit with nephew and a mate on the way...so it's not a direct track home...
The last day here was as good as the first... good natured fun and laughter...it was pizza night cooked by Vic... also pancakes with maple syrup and ice-cream...🤩
With Allan and Vic doing the honours... with the ladies in the background... making sure everything was perfect 😊
All for now...I'm only thinking of going as far as Tungamah today... maybe 🤔
Keep safe everyone.
Bernie.
And a great big thankyou to Jon for his hospitality...

Good morning afternoon everyone. I've pulled into the Merton Rec Res for a quick pit stop before I head up into the Strathbogie Ranges.
Taggerty 2025 is run and done. Congratulations to all our wonderful cooks. I really didn't do much this year.
As I've said elsewhere, thanks again to Jon and the rest of the family, we really do appreciate the time we get to have together, and the chance to make a few more memories.
There were a few new faces this year and some of the regular attendees couldn't make it for various reasons. But those of us that were there had a great time.
Until next time we meet. :D
Safe travels everybody
Cheers
