Beat this, I was up by 8am and the tree feller arrived right on the time he said he would be here 0830. Two big trees down, the gum tree all cut up to size for next year and the peppercorn tree completely gone.Between the 2 there was 3 trips to the dump. Cost for 3 men $930 and I thought that that was pretty fair, nicely cleaned up as well. The 2nd painter is coming tomorrow to give his quote. I expect that will be a high price. Had to re pot some bigger plants today all the dirt was just about all gone with roots circulating around and around the pots. Watch out next year at Taggerty I am saving something up for Nigel :) BOB back this Sunday night but the Pog will not be riding but away getting ready for the TDF. Time to say Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D Hope your son gets better soon x

Gee Dot, you sound like you are slowing down some days and then all action a go go . You got out of bed when I am having my best sleep times. I hate doing things early mornings. The price for your trees sound pretty good to me. Last time we had a gum tree removed, it was three grand, but they did need to use the crane, the chipper trucks and four men. It was a good job that we did it when we could almost afford it. I think that tree could have really caused a lot more problems, if we had left it to stay so close to the house. Happy house painting mate xxxx

George, hope you are looking after yourself well. You sound like us, with a very old mattress and really should get and do something about it asap. Take care of yourself mate.

Had the final visit to the eye surgeon today. He didn't charge at all, which pleased me. He had already seen me for the post op visit the day after the op, but this was an extra one to make sure that I am ready to have a prescription made up for new glasses. He has sent me off to our optician for that. Apart from going to Toronto for the doc, today was a slow headachy day for us both. Will have to start getting a bit smarter soon. Tomorrow we will head off to Tuggerah to collect our grandson's twenty first birthday present chainsaw. I don't think I will be carrying that parcel, or wrapping it I suspect.

night all xxx

Deborah I hope your headache has gone and everything else is improving. Age is a real bummer hey what? The skin Dr rang today to say the Rudolph nose biopsy was a sun keratosis and all OK. :D The other painter came to give his quote but hmmmm I didn't warm to him at all, he was here no more than 15 mins, said "I do this and I do that" never asked what we wanted, wanted to book us in for next Tuesday, sat at the table then handed us a written quote of $15k. NO colour charts either. He also pulled out an old " Thank you" card from a customer. POQ I thought . Needless to say he will not be getting our business and oh yeah he said the ceiling didn't need to be done. Then G and I went and loaded the freshly felled gum tree onto the G made trolleys then stacked it all for next years winter, green wood is heavy thus making my back feet and hands really painful, but it has to be done and someone has to do it so betting tomorrow will be a very late awakening. . Deborah you have a message on your business site FB. Speaking of F/B I had a win, I reported a post and bugger me they told me they had it taken down, Win one for me and millions of wins to F/B  We had some rain overnight but it didn't even wet the ground. Guess who got on the roof???? yep stupid Mr G he was getting the Wisteria off the shade cloth  Did a summer clothing clean out and so far I have got 5 big black rubbish bags full for the op shop but I bet we come home with some things as usual  I put a lovely smallish branch of the tree in with the birds and before too long naughty Norman was um doing a HUMP day with his daughter and biting off leaves and putting them in the cage corner, another job for the mornings, raking out their never to be nest. Time for hot shower so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight 2ft 6'' x :D

Well I told you what today would be like for me, awoke at 4.15pm, feet killing me. Seeing GP tomorrow and we need answers. The BOB's are on tomorrow night at last something to watch. Nothing much planned for the next few weeks or days so an early night will be in order. Just taken the doggie out for her last P and boy did she bolt back inside. Sky is very clear. Count #2 is still black what happens if they can't get to the required amount of the votes? Names in hat? All stay hunkered down until they come to a decision?? Now we have Pakistan and India at each others throats. What is this world coming to are we already there? Hope everyone is happy and healthy. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Margaret x :D

Good luck with the gp tomorrow Dot. I can't find anything on the f**kbook page, so you better tell me here. That page does my head in. I don't know how people run proper businesses using it. I just can never find messages at all and when they finally appear, they are way too late to deal with them. Naughty Normal needs to be kept in his own cage, for his daughter's sake. Can birds be neutered? I sent you a tiny package, did you get it? xxxx

I have had all sorts of aches n pain in my operated on knee. I woke last night in distress and have found that the bits have moved again and I am losing movement in the knee. Tomorrow, I am having a super fancy bone density xray that starts with an injection, come back two or three hours later and then they scan you. The scan takes up to an hour and a half. Not real keen on that but I need answers asap. Gp sent the first xray to specialist and she is on the phone saying she will ring asap once she sees the results of tomorrow's xrays. I think they now realise that I am not pretending to have some pain.

All this medical stuff is just doing my head in, so won't stay here wingeing.

Mahatma Gandi was the only one who could stop the two halves of India fight each other, after he died, they broke away to form Pakistan and created the world's supply of taxi drivers ...... They have always battled with each other, nothing new there. Pakistan is probably p*ssed that India is doing so well out of the upset to world trade ......

The op shop was pleased with my clothing donation today, told her there will be another 5 bag fulls again next month  but to even things up I got 4 near new jumpers and some bowls for G to drill some holes for drainage when I get more plants to put in them. :D Q/ How often does your Dr give you a compliment on your new ear rings, only put them on 1hr prev and yes they are lovely, made by our own glass magician i.e Deborah. :D Got Rosy dog a bag of brisket bones and she made quick work of one Only gets 1 every 2-3 days and best of all NO BONES. Her mum comes home this time next week.I am watching the BOB's and one of my my equal fav lads "Wault Van Aert" is doing very well after his bad accident last year, The other fav "The Pog" is not in this race as in training for the TDF. Our friend Steve aka Ozefueler had the jabs in his R) eye and the Lazer in the L) eye yucky for sure. No sign of the Jayco boys yet Deborah ? This race is very hilly I don't know how they can even cycle these races, 34ks to go.so I am going to say Goodnight everyone x :D and Goodnight Riverlander x :D

Good to see you wearing my creations Dot. If you give Rosie brisket bones, where do the bones go, if there are no bones? Now I am confuddled. Life seems to be a mix of what the docs think or who can they send you to next? Good luck with the crazies mate xxxx

Today I had an injection followed by a fancy scan two hours later. My quacks receptionist rang late this afternoon to say that he now thinks its tendonitis in my knee and to go see the physio. Maybe the surgeon will have a different idea if and/or when she rings. I honestly do not know how to feel about this information. Good, no need for further surgery but totally disbelieving the tendonitis theory. Tendons can't cause tiny bruises that look like dark black crosses ie screw heads. That was the first sign that something was not quite right.

The rest of the day was to visit the official opening of our town community gardens. They have come a very long way since we started on the planning a couple of years ago. I couldn't stand for too long, so left after the official stuff was done and then we came home for a quiet time before dinner. Dinner was a pizza from aldi fridge section and it was pretty good. So will buy them again.

Been having the needles for quite a while now, had laser work to remove scaring on the right eye after the cataract replacement a yr or more earlier, the second cataract surgery, the left eye this time with a reading lense, the needles a few weeks ago and any pain is very short term.
Got my new glasses Wed after Easter ...... both driving with both eyes focusing and reading with both eyes, is so much of an improvement, didn't realise just how bad my vision had deteriorated.

Apparently, my eyesight is good enough now to not need glasses for car driving, borderline for the Heavy Articulate licence, but the improvement with the polarised driving glasses is enough for me not to bother going through the eyesight test to get the specs required removed from my licence.

So, it isn't the eyes that are causing this latest round of blinding headaches ..... too many birthdays disease is the most likely, too many head injuries in both car and motorbike accidents, all coming back to remind me of my less than accident free life to date .....

Had a long day Dot? xxxx

Like Terry, after cataract surgery, my eyes are much better. I will be going to the optometrist next week to get the new glasses measured etc. My long distance vision is great, but will still need glasses for all day wear.

Took some heavy duty pain killers last night, so today was just a hung over day. They take my energy away totally, but the pain is a lot calmer today.
