For those into big rig racing
A person may fail many times, they only become a failure when they blame someone else John Burrows

I could have driven to Taggerty and back just on the fuel used on one run

Re: For those into big rig racing
All that black smoke is half burnt fuel to add to the exhaust thrust going through the turbo as well as piston and valve cooling.
The one that did in a turbo that was 4 mins old, the exhaust housing was blue, not enough fuel...... the one that threw the turbo complete across the track was one of the most spectacular failures ...... I'm guessing the over all winning with the C15 CAT motor and single turbo wasn't running straight diesel fuel ...... my guess would be nitro methane injected onto the backs of the intake valves ....
Loved the chassis twists, watched a Kenworth 8V92 lift both front wheel off the deck and carry them pulling a very heavy trailer out of workshop and up a step driveway when I was working for RoadMaster Haulage ..... No dumping the clutch, just pure torque, both diff locks in and in the bottom of the box .....
