Just used these guys to weigh a friend's new van. All self help and you get a .pdf printout at the end, for a fee.
We used the facility at a truck stop on the Logan Motorway at Larapinta, west of Brisbane but before Ipswich. The platforms are split so you can weigh individual axles and the van alone.
Mate's combination is 800Kg under max and individual axles are all under max allowed. I have weighed my campervan on the local Council dump scale but might just spend the money and weigh individual axles now I've seen the GoWeigh facility.

Re: Public weighbridges
Think I'll have to find something similar once I get the mega $$ trailer finished and on the Winnie, so 3 axle weights, then I'll know if I need to get nervous when travelling through the automated weigh bridges. I've managed to avoid them with both the Fuso and now the Winnie, but the odds are, things will catch up with me eventually

Re: Public weighbridges
Terry FYI I asked how much they would charge me at Eichler's & was told $25! Told them to get lost.
Yesterday I used the weigh bridge at Long's in Murray Bridge for $3.50.
Well to be honest I picked up some stones.
Tared over the bridge, went & bagged up what I wanted & went over the bridge again.
The stones cost $3.50 so I'm guessing the bridge was free? lol.

Re: Public weighbridges
The one we went to has 4 platforms. A and B are 5 metres long and C is 10 metres. More details are on the website. The capability to measure individual axles was the important detail for my mate. He was concerned about the load on the MUX rear axle once the vehicle is loaded and 315Kg ball weight is applied.

Re: Public weighbridges
More concerned about the trailer axle weight and how much is shifted from the trailer to the rear axle. The original weight of the trailer plus the MG4 put it over the trailer rated 1,990kgs, it would require break away brakes to be fitted and that gets expensive with hydraulic brakes ..... doable, but not cheap, or easy ....Izabarack wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 5:37 amThe one we went to has 4 platforms.
