Arfur for director if...

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Bruce, I'd love a new challenge, have the skills, ability, time.. :D ..oh there is a slight problem, I prefer my caravan and they just plain don't want me! So as much as I am paid up, to them I am invisible, cant vote and don't count! It is such a shame, as we all do the same things and share the lifestyle and the roads happily.

I don't know Bruce if I lost the black duck where would I be

THE border crossing WEEEELLLL that is a big question.
Which border Vic /NSW or VIC/ SA or NSW /SA so many borders and so little time.

Not sure which way I am going yet, and will not till I get to Mildura/Dareton as I have a lifetime friend that I HAVE to visit or I would never hear the end of it.

Would like to go to Broken Hill to find the great grandparents grave sites and then on to Peterborough. That way I only get to within 60miles of Kids and wave as I pass by.

Still a couple of weeks before I make that decision but leaving Kilmore as soon as shearing is finished, Wed at latest and then work my way along the Murray and see what happens. Need a couple of days fishing by a river before I get too far across.

I hope your not organising a Posse to hunt me back out of SA are you.

Perhaps I should keep my progress secret so I can slip through with being found and sent back.

Regards
Brian

Guy attends a local budgerigar club and ask for an application to join the group.
"How many budgies do you have?", they ask as it is a prerequisite for membership.
"None" was the reply.
"Well what do you have and why do you want to join the club"?
"Just a cat". :o

If someone wanted to join a Tent Camper Club, would it be unreasonable to expect ownership?
Get the board to change the name to "Camper Club" - then everybody with even just an interest would be welcome!
May as well as it has deteriorated to such an extent that I take those "Friendly Town" signs as a joke.

Maybe if Caravanners become full members - with voting rights - we could rename the club as the

Mobile Association of Camper Clubs of Australia.

Then everyone could get a discount at MACCAs!

Caravan, Motorhome, Club Australia, it was defeated last time it was put forward, I wonder how it would go if it was presented again?
The issue would be getting a democratic vote, all members, both motorhomers and caravanners would need to be allowed to vote.

Really bloody stupid, we are all travelers, so what's the difference, we all enjoy the lifestyle. Its about time things changed and we ALL represented what we are all doing and what we love. Strength is when we are all united not batting for the one team.

G'day,

A 5th wheeler is towed. A caravan is towed.

One is described in the CMCA rules as a "qualifying vehicle" - the other is not. Something to do with a request by one of our sponsors to alter our rules I've heard.

Bloody pathetic!

The first caravan owner who takes an unfair case to court will, in my opinion, win the case. Then it'll be open slather...woohoo!

Mind you, I got into all sorts of trouble in the old and discredited forum for expressing those thoughts. Talk about a bunch of master (de)baters!
