Apparently over 1100 Maccas have closed down in the USA since 2022, but the closure rate is speeding up since the start of the tariff wars .... people just don't have the money to spend on fast food, and those that do, don't buy Maccas....

There are a number of US fast food outlets that won't see the 2025 financial yr, Taco Belle is a prime example, but a lot of brands that didn't make it to Australia are facing closure

I'm guessing his offer on free gas is fairly safe, there are 24 hrs in day and that is just too long ...... unless he does another of those silent days, best he closes shop on a day like that and call it a day of rejoicing or something ...... then again, once it has passed midnight, it's a new day and that offer was for yesterday ;)

The Mango Madman has now announced a 25% tariff on Apple because their iPhones are not Made In The Good Ol’ US of A.
Apple responded by announcing that IF they were made in America they would cost three times the current price.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Guess who’s NOT gunna shift their manufacturing to America?

ps. China has announced that it has halted purchasing beef from USA, and switched to Australia as its source.
😊
Regards & God bless,

The best of anything goes to those who will pay the big bucks. The best meat, fish, lobsters, prawns .... you name it, if you can show it's top quality, if it's not the Japanese buying it, then it will be the Chinese with money or who ever is willing to pay the big bucks.
Aussies can buy the best of everything at a low price than the Japanese or Chinese or who ever, because they haven't got the freight and other paperwork to pay for ..... but we aren't really willing to pay the big bucks because we didn't have to in the past, so we think we shouldn't have to now those selling the top quality product have found a market that will pay top $$ ..... you can't blame them for that can you?

We do have the ability to buy an animal and have it raised, then slaughtered and butchered so we can have the top quality stuff ..... if we don't cave in to the big money someone else is willing to pay .... and put up with a lower grade of meat, and pocket the money we got for the top quality meat we sold as profit .... you can do it now, look at what the top quality meat is selling for, then buy a quality you can put up with, and consider the money you saved as profit ......

Ray you will have to change "his" name as the head follicles now are grey. If you get the chance look at how he does the hair cover up.

"IT" was brown when it was young.. Wish my hair would go white and not grey. How is your runner doing now?

Good morning Dot. Fred is still lively but, due to his lack of feathers I have to keep his cage well covered but can put him outside when the sun can be directly onto him.
